Great pizza, lovely chips which they left unsalted as knew they were for kids but provided sachets of salt, pepper and garlic dip. Absolutely nailed it. 10 kids, 2 adults, 6 pizzas - all delighted. “Stayed here for a trip to Windsor and Legoland. Nice family room with all the amenities needed. Nice helpful staff. Good breakfast with plenty of variety. Kids loved it as the planes are REALLY low coming in to Heathrow and they got a good view sitting in the hotels restaurant.”

“The staff were very helpful, and just really polite, patient, and professional, and made our stay relatively relaxed stress free *(we had a 6 month old with us upon writing this). Even though this place was busy with families enjoying Legoland, it's quiet enough to get a good night's sleep. They get busy at the weekends and half terms by looks of it, and the very helpful staff members were keeping us regularly up to date with when our food is coming. “Unreal hotel. My mom and I stayed 1 night here on our UK road trip. The property is gorgeous, the hotel itself is crazy beautiful. Every person who worked there was so nice to the both of us. I even got nice room upgrade to a cute suite. The bed was comfortable, the room was cozy and the shower was amazing. We love a waterfall shower. Would definitely stay here again. The breakfast in the morning was delicious too!”

“My favourite is the spit roast chicken with chips. Comes with garlic mayo and a spicy chunky salsa sauce. Chips are very unusual, sometimes they're chunky, sometimes they're very skinny but it reminds me of home-made, rustic food and I think it's very cute. Definitely recommend trying this place for a simple, tasty, filling and affordable meal.”

“Proper truckers cafe. Huge parking lot full of lorries and in the middle stands the cafe . I have eaten breakfast here a number of times and every time it has been a great meal. This is in my opinion the best place for breakfast in the area so perfect if you are passing on the way to Heathrow.”

“Visited for my mine and my partners anniversary this evening and it was amazing! Upon arrival we were greeted with a happy and lovely manner. The gentleman who seated us (I believe he was the manager) was so welcoming and wished us a happy anniversary. As we got to the table there was a lovely card wishing us again a happy anniversary which was so nice, as they did not have to do that and it meant a lot to us. Once we were sat, a lovely young lady came to take our orders and she was very sweet and so attentive. Our food came swiftly and tasted delicious, I definitely recommend the homemade sausage roll for a starter. My partner had the whitebait which was huge! Overall would definitely recommend the black horse as everything was perfect :)”

“We had take away last night and the food was delicious! Even my daughter enjoyed the dishes and she is a very picky person. They were very generous on the chutney and salad and the portion sizes were adequate. We had paneer which was absolutely yummy, butter chicken had a lovely spicy and sweet taste. The mixed grill was tasty also.”
