“I booked four nights recently at BGH and absolutely loved it. Staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you, my room was huge and the off street parking was a blessing. I was on a course and the room allowed me peace to study at night. Two minutes walk from the high street, for food or local shops - it was brilliant. Breakfast was available every day and the garden room was gorgeous. My room had two wardrobes, a fridge, a smart TV and free wi-fi. My private shower room was very modern, clean and constantly with warm water and lots of clean fresh towels. I was treated to a wonderful stay at Brentwood guest house and plan on returning very soon for another beautiful, rest filled stay!”

“I haven't been here for a long time but I'll be returning very soon. From the moment we arrived the staff were so welcoming. The food was great, I had a beef salad and the dressing was amazing, when I mentioned how good it was a staff member came back with a little pot for me to take home, how lovely was that. Can't wait to eat here very soon.”

“Upgraded to executive room, the bed was really massive, newly refurbished, bigger flat screen, room is very clean. Unfortunately I was too tired to try out the pool. Will definitely be back. Only negative 4 me was that parking was not free , I was told because I made my booking thur booking dot Com.”

“Visited gym as a pay as you go visitor. Great value for money. Some decent equipment, not busy when I went that you had to q. Enough free weights for non athlete's and serious weight lifters. No sauna, but reflected in price. Not a swimmer, but the pool looks great and is heated. They have spin classes etc here, so a bit of something for everyone but the most serious/committed gym goer.”

Newly established business which by far is best Italian (my opinion) in brentwood I could not recommend enough The owner Walter was very welcoming and nice I'm looking forward to my next visit.”

“Great place for kids and adults, long country walk with wild deer roaming about ( you can see them if your if your quite) little cafe there with cakes and ice cream and food to feed the deer with. Massive lake to walk round with big open fields. A lot of people take their gazebos and have birthday parties there! You can walk for miles through the trees.”

Excellent food and service, extremely good wine and the chef/owner an absolute gentlemen with a great sense of humour. I live in France and have to say, one of the finest meals I have had anywhere.”

“Wonderful service, prompt with a smile, and really nice options on the menu. We ended up here somewhat by accident after the Grufalo trial and booked a table purely based on reviews. Although it was about 15 minutes away I'd say it was worth the drive. We had the double stacked friend chicken burger, pear and walnut salad, ribs for starter and the meringue which was a perfect summer dessert. Good vegetarian options as well. They cater well for outside bookings and are also well setup post Covid. Lovely pub, lovely people in a lovely area.”

“LOVE THIS SALON!! Every time i go here for a treatment (or 4!) i leave feeling much happier and more positive than when i went in. This is not just because of the fantastic level of service and brilliant, up-to-date skill the staff have, but also because they are all so friendly - they know when to be chatty and when to leave you to relax and let your mind wander. My favourites are the eyelash extensions - easily the best I've ever had done and at such a reasonable price - and the shellac nails. The therapists are really accommodating and offer great advice on what colours and treatments to have as well.”

“Took my 6 yo kid there, she really enjoyed her time there. There are lots of things to do for the kids, really nice playground, animals to see. We had lunch there too. She really had fun and wants to go again.”
