“If you’re going to leave fake reviews about a reputable business. Don’t get your friends to do it all on the same day!! My Dad has been using this garage for years and when i drove down from Lincoln to Hayes for a family holiday I hit a pot hole and damaged my car quite significantly. I left him my keys and the car and by the time we got home a week later my car was fixed and I was able to drive the 150 miles home with no issues. Whenever I call my Dad with something wrong with my car he always asks if it can wait until I’m visiting to get it fixed here. Absolutely amazing customer service and I would trust him with my car a million times over.”

Right from the start they were incredibly courteous, extremely professional and kept me fully informed as to progress of the accident repairs they were undertaking. When my car was returned after their work it looked better than before it went it (accident damage aside). Everybody I dealt with has been brilliant and their standard of workmanship exemplary. “I've just had the best experience at United City Motors, I'm always cautious of going to new mechanics and have had a few bad experiences in the past. I took my vehicle to Kwikfit who did the MOT and service and told me that i had an coolant leak and oil leak. I took it to Sam as he's the closest mechanic to where i lived (having not used him before) and i cannot recommend him highly enough. He inspected the car, called me approx 60 mins after a told me that the oil leak was minor and he could repair free of charge and the coolant leak needed a new part for which he quoted very reasonably (whilst throwing in some extras). He kept the old part to show me the damage. I picked my car up 24 hours after and the car had unexpextedly been cleaned inside and out, he even took the trouble of cleaning the enginge (which was in much need as the car had been sat dormant for over 6 months collecting dust and debris). Very glad to have found Sam - a genuine man who appears to do what he does for the love of it and wants to over deliver. I will certainly be going back again. Thanks Sam and team, will be seeing you again soon.”

I am quite particular about bodywork but each time they have surpassed expectations. They always seem to have classic cars in (as well as modern cars) and the work they have done on them has been fantastic. Would definitely recommend them, especially if you want a quality job.”

Roy knows his craft and uses it to carry out quality repairs and save people money. “Unluckily our car was broken into in Central London and we sought out the nearest garage - just to make the broken windows safe enough to drive. Clerkenwell Motors realised our predicament and moved their other jobs around so that they could fit us in. They repaired the broken window and made the car safe to drive within about 30 mins. They did a fantastic job and we were happy to pay them well - as not only had they done a great job, but it was under emergency conditions. However, they refused payment, saying that they felt very sorry that we had been broken into and if they could make it a little better by not charging, then they were happy to do that! What an incredibly kind action from such a professional team. I guess yesterday we saw the best of London folk and experienced the worst. If you are looking for a garage near Clerkenwell with highly professional mechanics, who are also decent and honourable people, then go to Clerkenwell Motors. They are a very special team.”

“Punctual, professional and good transparency about goods and services. I booked in an MOT and dealt with John at the garage. There was a quick turn around with my service and communication was high, I was able to contact John by telephone and email when ever I called or emailed the garage which is very reassuring. At first my car failed the MOT due to my tyres being unroadworthy, John ordered and installed my new tyres very quickly and I was able to pick up my car the next day. John has won my business over and I will be coming back to him for any future repairs and services.”

“Finding a reputable and trustworthy garage is far more difficult than it should be. I've been guilty in the past of skimping on my repairs and going to the cheapest quote. My car has suffered as a result. Beam MOT are honest, reliable and transparent. Prices are known up front, work is carried out in an extremely timely and transparent manner. I called at 10:15 this morning for a repair, I was told to bring the car straight away, problem was diagnosed and the part was ordered. I'm sitting here at 13:30 and the repair is already completed! I've had MOT's at Beam many times for previous cars and always felt like they were honest - I'm not taking my new car anywhere else. If you want a garage where you don't have to have that sinking feeling every time you walk in - I'd suggest Beam.
