“This is our regular curry restaurant. We've been coming here for many years. It used to be called The Gurkha Kitchen but they changed the name, although the staff and menu remained the same. The food is well prepared, tasty and reasonably priced. I could just deduct one star as there are parts of the restaurant that could with a lick of paint, but as the food and friendly service are so good, I want to stick with a full star count. I can recommend it.”

Service last night may have been a little slower than usual but it didn't stop us from appreciating every moment we spent in the restaurant and in fairness it was not their fault. “We had a fantastic experience of staying at Teddington Lodge. Chi and Vito were super efficient in handling any queries. Quick response and quick action on everything we needed. Will 100% recommend. We stayed in the family room which had everything we needed from excellent hobs to washing machine and dryer. The location of Teddington lodge is ideal with links to Kingston and Hampton. There is a Tesco Express 5 mins walk from the lodge on Broad Street with friendly opening times.”

“Went here for dinner on a Friday evening in August. Extensive menu and modern interior. Enjoyed the food. Service was good too. As it was really busy we had some difficulty in hearing each other but not much can be done about that.”

The menu appeals from top to bottom, the service is friendly, attentive and what really appealed was the recommendation for a wine so perfect for lunch, there was no way I'd have chosen so well. Overall, this is a fabulous place for lunch and I reckon even better for dinner......which I'm looking forward to finding out :)”

“Squares of thin-base sourdough pizza with varying toppings - including a vegan option - for £4.50, served 'Folded' like a wrap. It's easy to confuse this with a Calzone (traditional folded pizza), but that's more like a pasty in appearance. Really tasty crust - thin, chewy and crispy at the same time. The salami was plentiful and great quality. For the price, it's a convenient way to get top quality pizza on the go. Cheap priced coffee drinks are available - the cappuccino (£2.80) was edible without being remarkable in any way. Well worth checking out this place - I think it'll be very successful. Edit - I'm very frustrated that this place offers no way to tip the staff; z even Starbucks has a tips jar, which offers them a way to supplement their low wages. The owner could do this with minimal effort, and it would make a big difference to them. I hope he reads this and takes appropriate action.”
