ROOTS RESTAURANT
“It's a got a good vibe and great staff to dine in, the food was perfect and the shisha was a great finish. The outdoor area is still covered with heat lamps so even in the cold and rain it's not an issue and it even has music that you can control. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone looking for lebanese food.”
Non restaurant
“refreshing mango salad with beef , balanced , authentic food . the Vegetarian spring rolls were so crispy and flavours blended so well. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant !!”
Buna Ethiopian Restaurant
“Very good Ethiopian at a very reasonable price. It's £32 for the sharing multi platter for 2 very hungry, or 3 sort of hungry people. The Ethiopian honey wine is definitely worth a try, it tastes a bit like sweet apricot juice, quite nice, £5 for a large glass. It's on the way from Highbury & Islington to Emirates, went there before a cup match midweek and couldn't believe how empty it was. This place is a little gem. If you've never tried Ethiopian, it's a bit like Indian, but it's all plopped in little piles on a big plate in the middle to share.”
La Torre Restaurant Crouch End
“Came to celebrate my best friends birthday the food was unbelievable, so fresh delicious and authentic. Staff are so friendly and the chef is lovely.”
Tower Mangal Turkish Restaurants
“The food was very tasty, the portions were very generous, and they gave a really tasty salad. When offering free salads, they’re not usually this tasty or generous. I ordered the veggie skewer, which was really tasty and I love how they cooked the rice.”
Chimichurris
“Went there for a birthday dinner last month, had a wonderful time. All the meat dishes we ordered were superb, especially the rib eye. Great wine options too. The place was small but cozy, with great service. Will definitely go back.”
Umana Yana
“I have only ever had the patties here but they are amazing (best I have ever had), quite expensive compared to other stores but worth it, fresh/homemade, much better than what you get in most Jamaican/Jerk shops. They tend to sell out of flavours quick so go early.”
Nandine - Vestry Road
“Would highly recommend for breakkie or lunch. The breakfast platter was delicious and we shared baklava for a sweet treat. The boreks also looked amazing which I would get if passing! Only downfall was my oat milk latte which was possibly the strongest coffee I’ve ever had… almost undrinkably so!”
Bobabun
“Went there yesterday and the customer service was just amazing the staff were really kind. The cookie dough was great. And the bubble tea was 10/10. Will definitely be back !”
Our Kitchen
“First time visiting with a friend. Great coffee and the Cypriot Sausage and Halloumi panini was delicious. Will definitely visit again.”
Delicasil Authentic Nigerian & African Caribbean Cuisine
“Her meals are very very delicious. The jollof rice and soups are delicious. I would recommend Delicasil anytime for any event. Very reliable, affordable and delicious meals. Delicasil….Real value for every penny”
The Queen's Rooms Steakhouse & Grill
“I have written a review on this excellent restuarant before and we visited it again last night. The food and service here is truly remarkable. Its an intimate venue with young, friendly and attentive servers. The food really is excellent. They use a Josper Grill so the steaks are amazing. I had a hearty portion of pate to start and then a superb beef wellington. One of the highlights of dining here is the cocktails. They are inexpensive and pack a punch (both flavour andf booze). I have not had a better Cosmopolitan anywhere else on this planet. In short, they get everything right at The Queens Rooms.”
Gourmet Kebab Kitchen
“Lovely fresh good quality food. Best kebab shop in the area without doubt. A great addition. We will definitely use it again.”
The Jasmine by Spice Nouv-Oh!
“Wow! Where do I start. When Joe said this was the place, he wasn't joking. The food is incredible... absolutely incredible! It's like you have stepped into a Michelin stared restaurant that's first all about service and understanding what your taste is, then preparing a freshly made meal tailored to suit your pallet. The fresh chilli is cooked in such a way that it doesn't leave your mouth burning but more like a comforting warm hug that makes you feel loved. It's reasonably priced food, and the service is priceless. Will be back on regular visits from now on. Well done on such an amazing restaurant!”
Heritage Dulwich
“An absolutely delightful restaurant near West Dulwich. We went here on a Friday evening and from start to finish the whole experience was wonderful. The staff are all very friendly, professional, and have a thorough understanding of the menu. The restaurant itself looks great and finds a good balance of being modern and minimal while being cozy and intimate. The food is some of the best Indian food I’ve had. From the popadoms with selection of dips (the berry based chutney was fantastic in particular), to the starters (the aubergine with venison managed to hit every flavour I wanted in a mouthful, with sweet, smokey, and heat all in perfect balance), to the mains (the murgh makhani was a delight, and the lamb shank was truly cooked and spiced to perfection). If you like Indian food and want a special evening in Dulwich, then Heritage will not disappoint. A truly delight!”
Boxwallah
“Incredible flavour, incredible value! Boxwallah has become an absolute favourite in our house, we love the interesting and fresh take on the classic Indian take-away dishes”
ChaskaMaska
“One the hidden gems in a not so busy areas of London. The place is a nice and small space for Indian food lovers. The menu is not too big but the taste is very nice for what you get served. The prices are also very reasonable. The chai is a must try for Indian chai lovers who miss the Desi taste.”
Preem Brick Lane
“1st class service and excellent food. I love a curry but my favorite curry garlic dish was delicious and the customer service couldn't have been better. Highly recommended. Also really good value. I like it very much I was impressed by the dinner”
P S V Cuisine
“Fantastic find, a cosy, simple, but lovely restaurant above a pub. Great choice of Laotian and other South East Asian dishes. Our table of 4 thoroughly enjoyed all starters and mains ordered. Very reasonably priced and attentive waiting staff.”
Pizzeria Pomodoretto
“Delicious! And very reasonable price. Super friendly staff that will prepare the pizza you fancy - even if not on the list. They always cater for my ‘just tomato’ pizza.”
Oxeye
“Absolutely outstanding. One of the best tasting menus I have ever tried. The food just kept coming, plating was beautiful and the flavour were unusual but complemented each other perfectly. So well-balanced.”
St. Leonard's
“A delightful stay in St Leonards, started with a warm welcome check in. The room tastefully decorated had everything you needed, with additional touches of cookies and amenities. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the morning breakfast deliciously tasty. Would recommend and look forward to returning.”
MXO
“AMENDED Shoutout to the staff who work at MXO! They went above and beyond for my dining experience with my cousin. Apologies in not remembering your names, when they were fresh in my mind. However, the food was TOP NOTCH, as also the cocktail drinks too. The only suggestion I will have to make is your 24 Hour Poussin. I don’t know if mine was 24 hours ready or not? The marination didn’t penetrate the white meat. I look forward to trying your Seabass main, as you was sold out of it at the time. Thank you so much for the conversation, service and complimentary drinks. Will be visiting again. Viva La MXO!!!!”
ChoJo
“A real hidden gem. I don't usually write reviews but they had the sweetest little restaurant. Every single item was done delicately and purposefully and they had the best service, really sweet. I felt really welcome and happy and food was one of the best oriental foods I've had in London, with simple presentation to help focus on the flavour. And to top it off they surprised my gf with special dessert for her bday. Love it!”
Mr Firewater cafe & takeaway
“Foods are freshly made. We ordered extra spicy and they made it as we requested. (The owner even gave me extra fresh chilies because he read me very well) And extra ⭐️ for the owner! He is a very friendly person and he recommended us some restaurants for Dim Sum and Asian grocery store for spices! And ooops I didn’t take any pictures of the food for reference. I was really enjoying the food!”
Three Bowls
“Really good and fresh food! The chef was really nice and took the time to give us details about the dish we choose. Veggie Spring rolls are excellent and I would also recommend the cucumber salad and it’s delicious spicy sauce! The price is very reasonable so we will comeback for sure. Thank you.”
Les Associés
“An authentic, magical experience, tucked away on Park Road. Great ambience, so cozy on a Tuesday evening this time of year. Wonderful food, and gracious host. We intend to come back with my wife's parents.”
Almas Restaurant
“This place is outstanding and definitely a hidden gem! I used to find it really difficult to find authentic Persian food near me but that is no longer the case. My friend and I were blown away with the amazing quality of meat and flavours of the food, really succulent lamb and chicken. The crispy rice was a real treat too, as was the pot of tea! Will definitely be visiting again, real soon.”
Kamari The Authentic Greek
“The best shop in town! Friendly staff and excellent service! Try their pastries, to die for!”
Boukis Grill
“Apart from the delicious food, Boukis Grill’s staff is super friendly, and the cozy environment makes it a great place to dine in with friends!! Definitely visiting again.”
