“Really solid local shop that's open quite late, has pretty much everything you might need and reasonably priced too. Really soft and fresh Turkish bread, down the back of the shop near the milk, not down the front where they have baguettes. Great variety of frozen food as well. Excellent and big section of dried pulses like lentils and chickpeas, plus a good range of body wash scents and there's even an ATM inside. My only complaint is that their crumpets are much too expensive, almost 30p more than anywhere else.”

“Couldn’t recommend booking through this company more! My girlfriend and I moved to Boa Vista in Cabo Verde for 6 weeks earlier this year, working remotely. Ed and Sam from GoRemote provided invaluable assistance in this process, making every aspect of the trip a smooth and enjoyable process. Not to mention they are both wonderful people anyway! We decided to book through GoRemote because we wanted to ensure the WiFi was suitable for remote working. The apartment we booked was lovely and the WiFi fantastic. In the off-chance that the WiFi went down, there was also the security of a brand new shared working space you could go to. However, I think the true worth of booking through GoRemote is the additional support and help Sam and Ed provided throughout our trip. When you book an extended stay through the company, it comes with an acclimatisation tour of the Island, so you can easily get your bearings and avoid the often tricky first few days trying to find things. They also provided recommendations on local restaurants and even a discount card to use at some of them. On top of this, with both of them having lived on the Island for many years, they have so much knowledge about the island and any contacts you need. Whether its booking a quad bike tour, recommending the best local restaurants or organising a whale watching tour they can help you out. Not to mention the Cape Verde Islands and their people are simply fantastic. Already can’t wait to come back to Cape Verde!”
