“Honestly one of the best pizzas iv had! We were blessed for ‘Hungry Mate Pizzeria’ to visit our school, in the snow and make us fantastic pizzas!!! I ordered for a bbq based pizza and it couldn’t matter what sort of base I had, as the bread alone was soooooo nice! Everyone out there I’m telling you , make an order… the pizza is shweettttt!!!”

The owners are both approachable, friendly and always happy to go above and beyond to help. Food is always cooked from fresh so if you are in a rush it’s worth calling through before hand. I’d recommend the chicken and halloumi wrap as they are awesome and simply the best in the area. “Visited this restaurant on a Saturday night for a romantic meal for two. The restaurant was quite busy but not overcrowded or noisy. The staff were very professional and attentive. The food was excellent and of a very high quality. Do strive to leave room for the sweet trolley, it never fails to impress. The restaurant itself is very accessible and close to both Wallington Station and a bus stop for very easy access to both Croydon and Morden. Highly recommended!”

“Kings Diner-Cafe De Niro has a special place in my heart, the staff are just the friendliest, most helpful men that walking in there is like going to a friends home and nothing is ever too much trouble. The breakfast servings are big, platter size, the latte is the best I've had and the meal is absolute value for the low cost. It is not a fancy afternoon tea in your finery type of place, its a come as you are hearty big meal eat and go. A Saturday doesn't begin properly without my Kings Diner-Cafe De Nero number 5 breakfast and latte first!”

“Edit 11 April: just ordered from Tuk Tuk for the third time and omg whomever was cooking tonight, kudos to them! Absolutely incredible and took me right back to Thailand! Loved the Tom yum rice and the chilli and basil pork stir fry with coconut rice!!! Holy WOW!!! 5 star and the best Thai takeaway in the area! Ordered drunken noodles, pad Thai and tom yum fried rice from here and I have to say, whilst it’s one of the best Thai’s in the area (Purley is seriously lacking), it could still be better. The pad Thai was lovely with lovely large prawns but the sauce tasted like it was from a jar rather than authentic tamarind. The drunken noodles were smokey and didn’t taste like authentic pad kee mow, but the Tom yum fried rice, in spite of not being fully authentic, was amazing! Really good flavours and good sized prawns. Overall, it tastes like someone not Thai, making Thai food. Apologies if this is incorrect, but just the way it came across in the cooking. Yes, I would definitely order from Tuk Tuk again as it was mega tasty, but it’s personally not authentic enough to satisfy my Thai craving.”
