The management team seem to have some great ideas for making this sustainable business which I hope to try more in the future. Live F1 without have to buy Sky would get me there….hint hint”

The Artichoke
● Closed“This was surprisingly a great little chill spot with good tasting food. I was expecting bland bar food, but got very tasty meal, the cheese burger was really juicy and tasted like it was made fresh and not from frozen patties. Drinks service was a bit slow because the place was crowded but this comes with Friday nights I guess.”

Estcourt Tavern
● Closed“Great pub, wonderful atmosphere. Really enjoyed the beer garden. The male barman with the beard and spiky hair was very entertaining and very knowledgeable on his ciders (I think his names began with a T, can't quite remember). The lady bartender with the tattoos was also a joy to be served by. All in all will recommend to friends and family when I come back to Watford next.”

The Moon Under Water - JD Wetherspoon
● Closed“Nice big wetherspoons which is due to close soon apparently. Haven't been here for about 20 years and I must say, things have improved a great deal- thank goodness. The staff were polite and friendly- I think everyone I saw was smiling. There was a good crowd in but the service did not suffer. My wrap and chips for lunch were lovely and the Guinness was excellent. I'm sure this pub will be missed”
