“Had kitchen done with Schmidt in Loughton as service is like no other. From design to build was all coordinated by Will, who was courteous, thoughtful and always took the time to explain and respond to all correspondence even after the kitchen was completed. I made last minute changes and this was never an issue. The team used for the build were great. Everything ran to time. I have a small house and a small kitchen, I didn't have to store anything here as it was coordinated and delivered for after the old kitchen was ripped out. George who was the carpenter pays attention to detail and has come by to fix little things that weren't working for me, like how a cabinet door opens/closes. The kitchen is lovely. It cost more than the other kitchens I looked at, but it was worth it for the finish, quality and absolute ease of working with Will at Schmidt and the team he's picked to do the job.”

“Loughton movement clinic has transformed my life and I am forever grateful for all they have done and continue to do. Two years ago when I first walked through the door I was dealing with chronic illness and multiple physical injuries. I had an intense travel schedule and was living between London and New York. I had worked with multiple trainers in the past but no one compares to Joe and Chess. They both embody and practice what they instill in their clients. Beginning with the simple but effective philosophy of movement is medicine Joe skillfully designed a rehabilitation program to help my body heal and recover. He supported me when I traveled and his recommendations extended to my life style, diet and overall well being. Rather than focusing on the superficial Joe and Chess focus on health, self esteem and an appreciation of the human body and it’s potential. Joe is an incredible, skillful coach and adult educator who knows how to build on success whilst still knowing how to push when needed. Two years later I have thankfully recovered from my chronic illness and I can run in the park with my nieces and nephews and while traveling for work still maintain an exercise routine, even if that means dancing to Chaka Khan in my hotel room. Joe and Chess treat their clients like family, the attention and care they provide to each of their clients is so generous and heartfelt. Like many women I have struggled with my body image and fluctuating weight but through my experience working with Joe I now have a deeper appreciation and positive relationship and acceptance of my body and movement is part of my everyday routine. “Run, do not walk here... unless it's up the hill then take the walk at a brisk pace. They have recently redecorated but that's not the only reason why. They are now serving Chuck & Brisket, a small menu filled with the absolute best burgers I have tasted. Forget Dead Hippies from Meat Liquor, or Shake Shack. The cheeseburgers here are juicy, mouth-watering and the most delicious brioche meat sandwiches I'vehad in a very long time. The patties taste incredible and are so moist. I couldn't fault it and I was a little sad when it was over. Their skin-on fries transported me to my grandmother's kitchen, for me, a comfort food. I would absolutely come back here, and implore any newcomers and regulars to try their delightful menu, otherwise you would be doing yourself a disservice. You will not regret it.”

“From start to finish the service provided by London Essex Outdoor Living has been exceptional. Initial email was recieved and replied to immediately, it was actioned with 100% service, from checking parts in stock to organising engineer to promptly visit and fix problem. The engineers have always been superb at their job and know exactly what they are doing and leave you feeling confident that your expensive purchase has been looked after. I also wanted to find someone locally to work with, and was so happy to find and Mark and Lisa in Loughton. They were absolutely brilliant, lovely and helpful from start to finish. “Wonderful time here. Food was on point , bought a combo meal which was 18 quid. Which is two main courses. And 2 sides. The oxtail was amazing and tender. And stew its in was well put together. The jerk chicken was great aswell although I wasn't keen on the sauce. Guiness punch was lovely too.staff were great and ill definable be back”

“Very nice fish and chips. Fresh every time. It is not often that we get a family take away. But when we do this is top of our list. Friendly staff as well. Someone has commented that is cash only. That may have been when they first opened. You can pay by card, no problem. Most of takeaway packaging is paper. Although still some polystyrene for the chips portion. I will mention to the staff next time I order. It would be nice to cut on plastic wherever possible.”

“Best wings I’ve had to date. Always come here on Wednesdays for 2 for 1 wings. Mango Mazzaline has to be the best flavour for me, sweet with that kick of scotch bonnet fragrance. Have also tried other flavours and yet still delicious. Loaded fries is just moreish with the lashings of different cheeses. Hidden local gem and a must try!”
