“I injured my wrist in a freakish accident 3 years ago. I left it and gradually as I stopped using my arm as much it became weaker and pain developed in my elbow, shoulder and neck. I found Dan on Google and he diagnosed me on the first appointment. He put in place specific programmes which I followed assiduously and 3 months after I was discharged after being in pain for years. My pain is literally gone, my arm feels stronger and I have been going to the gym lifting light weight. I will be adding more weights gradually as I am getting more confident. “I thought I’d write my experiences with Dr Olivia in treating my condition as it helped me so much, in case anyone else is going through the same. I slept on my arm and I woke up to not being able to feel my thumb and index finger, my wrist were also drooping. It all felt numb. I knew that I compressed my nerve (later found out I compressed the median and flexor nerve). After the first treatment, the numbness of my index finger was significantly relieved, enough so I could work. After the second treatment, the numbness of my thumb was it felt even more relieved, and I could actually bend my fingers. After the third treatment, the numbness of the index finger and thumb were so much better, and the wrist could be turned and rotated. After five treatments, I have basically returned to normal. All the treatment also adjusted my shoulder and neck stiffness, and I can do work with my right hand. I know in the future I need to increase my arm strength. I am very grateful to Dr Olivia for giving me timely treatment. She helped right away with no waiting and Dr Olivia is very experienced, gentle and very friendly. I am incredibly lucky to meet her as she made my hands recover quickly. I strongly recommend Dr Olivia if anyone has similar problems to me.”

Briony immediately put us at ease from starting with puppy visits and now onto hourly visits/walks, helping to also interact with other dogs and on her own. She is VERY flexible and helps us out at the very last minute at times. Our dog absolutely adores her (sometimes more than us I’m pretty sure) and she always makes sure the dog is wiped down and the house kept clean when she visits. “I’d been contemplating swimming lessons for years and felt so nervous going into it but I’m so glad I took the plunge (pun intended). Lisa made me feel instantly at ease with her friendly manner and in less than 10 weeks I was already able to swim multiple lengths, something I never thought I’d be able to do. In my opinion I think this is an ideal place to learn to swim as an adult, being in hotels the swimming pools are already a really nice environment to be in and I would go in the evenings or weekends and the pools were always really quiet. The learn to swim programme is great too, the approach is simple all the steps are really methodical, not at all overwhelming and Lisa always took the time to explain why I had to do certain things i.e. to make the swim more efficient, not breathe in water etc. And honestly, it was so much fun! Couldn’t recommend Lisa and Turner Swim more.”
