Purley Cattery
● Closed“First time we used Purley cats after using another cattery for many years. We were very impressed with Paul and the cattery team along with the cattery itself very clean and good sized pens. We booked our cat in immediately and we were not disappointed he came back very relaxed well fed and you could see he had been well cared for. We would highly recommend Purley cats for your boarding needs”

Purley War Memorial Hospital
● Closed“This is very convenient and the service is relatively quick, especially compared with Mayday Hospital. I went for an X-ray and it was done in 30 minutes, with a smooth process from checking in, waiting and being called. The car park is expensive but on street parking across the road is free for an hour. Alternatively, there is a much cheaper car park next to the church, which is next to this hospital.”

Purley Oaks Primary School, Nursery and Children's Centre
● Closed“I have been working at Purley Oaks for over 10 years now as a class teacher , both in Year One and Reception. I can honestly say that I love it here. Everyone is so kind and welcoming . We all help each other out no matter what year group we are in or what job role we have - we are a great team! I was advised when I was an NQT to keep moving to different schools but I really don’t want to be anywhere else! In Reception we are a fantastic team and work very closely together. We have such fun and it is amazing to see the children progress throughout the year. I feel that in Early Years we give children a great start to their learning careers!”

St Nicholas School, Purley
● Open“I went to this school, back in 1986-93 although I didn't like school, I wouldn’t fault it, the teachers did a brilliant job, it can't have been easy and the head teacher was good as well, remembering all of the pupils names, I have trouble remembering my own children's names, so to remember how ever many pupils were there at the time I was there, he must have had a good memory.”

Nursery and Preschool Purley | Fennies Nursery
● Closed“We are very happy with this Fennies. Our daughter absolutely loves it and often doesn't want to leave. Her key persons have all been lovely, very supportive and instrumental to her developmental milestones. They are more expensive than some of the other nurseries we originally visited, but we have found the staff to be very attentive to her needs and strive to make sure she is developing well.”

Great Waves Swimming Academy
● Closed“My children have been having lessons with Great Waves for about 5 years and we are really happy. The teachers are great- really kind, patient and professional. Lessons are well organised and the communication is excellent. We are kept informed of any changes e.g. a different teacher or an issue with parking at the venue. I'd especially recommend Great Waves for children with SEN as they go out of their way to get to know each child and how to support them.”

Lemon Tree Montessori Nursery School
● Closed“This is the second nursery we have tried in this area. It is far and away the best. The teachers are dedicated professionals (most are also Montessori trained in addition to EYFS training) who are obviously enjoying their work with children, and who are committed to Lemon Tree in the long term. In other words, unlike the other nursery we tried which had huge problems with staff turnover, the teachers at Lemon Tree know us, we know all of them, and most importantly they and the children know each other. Every week my partner and I talk about how relieved we are that our son is at Lemon Tree, and how confident we feel in the care and attention he is receiving there. They also have an enormous outdoor play area with real grass and trees, not just a carpark covered in astroturf. The children are given many opportunities for outside play and they integrate natural learning with their Montessori curriculum. I would recommend this place without qualification.”
