“First of all, I am very happy to know Dean Samara. She is a teacher who takes her job seriously. Her passion in teaching , her approaches in teaching methods, and her adaptation by considering the motivation of her students are the features that came to my mind at first. I like to look forward to her lessons and to look forward to what I will learn today. Another feature that I have witnessed in her is that she is on time in her classes. Her work discipline is excellent. At the same time, she follows the development of her students in every aspect, exhibits personalized approaches with flexibility and provides guidance in the areas that the student needs in the future. Since the subjects she covers in her lessons are scientific, current, functional, cultural and useful themes, my concentration in the lesson increases even more. It also helps in gaining the continuity of language development with homework tracking. All these features that I have mentioned make me say that I am glad to have known her.Moving towards my goals under her guidance is an incredibly enjoyable process. Thank you for everything”

“We started speech therapy with Monique when our son was 3 and half years old. He was unable to pronounce the sounds s, sh, t, tch, z by itself or in the words. He was slow at speaking, expressing himself and making  simple sentences. With Moniques help for almost 1 year, he was able to make amasing progress, increasing his vocabulary and making sentences. She explained to him which part of the mouth the sounds come from so he understood what he needs to do to make the correct sounds. I was able to learn from her effective communication skills that I was using every day with my son to help him change wrong pronunciation habits. Now our son is almost 6 years old, he has been discharged from NHS speech therapy, even though he had not attended any speech therapy for the last year due to lockdown. We were able to support him in learning to pronounce all the sound that he was still struggling with over a year ago (like sh, tch). He is able to produce all the sounds correctly now and when he makes a mistake he always corrects himself. His is able to communicate appropriately for his age now, he is progressing well at school with his reading and expressing himself. We are very grateful for all the hard work and input  from Monique. “The Lyceum is a wonderful, happy school, which has undergone a transformation under Headteacher Mrs Wyatt. The building is beautiful, airy and light, with an outdoor playground - something of a rarity in central London. The teaching is energetic and tailored to the child, with academic standards now high. The canteen chef is also incredible, literally incredible!”

“My daughter has attended pound park for a year and I could not be happier. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and my daughter loves coming to nursery every day. They have been so supportive of my daughters needs and have given her so much help as well as supporting us as a family. “Such a great madrassah, really prioritises the children and what is in their best interests. The standards set for staff and students in terms of conduct, effort and achievement is high. Very different to other madaaris, where the teachers just stroll in, teach a spontaneous lesson and leave. Teachers here are required to dedicate a lot of time and thought into how they conduct lessons and impart knowledge. This is what the children need and deserve. For this reason among many others, I thoroughly enjoy working here. May Allaah place barakah in the academy.”

“Boys and Girls Stanmore is such a lovely nursery. All 3 of my children have gone here with just my 2 yo son left. The setting is well kept, clean and a very bright and welcoming place for both the children and parents. Every member of staff is friendly and helpful. Reception staff are great and always a very reliable source for communication which is key when you are leaving your children in someone else’s care. The carers in all the rooms of the nursery are so wonderful - kind, caring and my children established great bonds with all the carers as well as their key person. There are great facilities and you can tell a lot of thought goes into all aspects of the nursery from the toys to the displays and the activities provided each day. The new garden is amazing and the kids are always so excited to get outside. The food made on site by the nursery’s own chef is fantastic.. my children ate/eat so well at nursery and are a lot more open to trying different foods. Both my daughters were ready and well prepared to start their school journey with a huge thanks to Boys and Girls and I have no doubt my son will be the same. I would highly recommend boys and girls to anyone looking for childcare!”
