Bamanoosh Persian Kitchen
● Closed“A great find. The food was delicious and the staff friendly and helpful. Whilst I have eaten in Persian restaurants before this seemed to a cut above. We ate in and it was pretty quiet but then it was 2.30pm on a Monday in January. Even then the food was fresh, moist and delicious. We shared a starter of Aubergine and walnut with amazing bread (Kashnk Bademjan) for mains we had slow cooked lamb neck with excellent rice. (Baghali Polo) Tender and tasty together with a first for us, Dizi a traditional lamp chick pea and veg stew in an earthenware pot (Which we got to take home) that you crush then roll in bread with fresh herbs and pickles - eating the liquid as a soup. Divine. I can't say if it is authentic but I get the feeling it is. I can say it is definitely great food and generous portions. Highly recommended”

Mezze Ocakbasi
● Closed“I’ve been to many Turkish restaurants in London and I have to say that this ranks at the top. The chicken was extremely soft and juicy, the lamb chops and lamb sish were cooked to perfection and the Adana had interesting herbs. Overall the meat was very juicy. I’d recommend mixed grill as the main and the Hummus with Lamb as the starters. Also their garlic and Chili sauce was very good!”

The Hungry Turk
● Closed“Fantastic food! Really the best lamb kofta wraps. Super juicy and you can tell it's great quality meat. It's traditional and fresh. I was really happy with the portion size. I'm a big boy and was definitely full. The wrap is huge and the boxes have lots inside. Having eaten at some of the top old school Turkish spots in North London, this place is certainly worth a visit!”
