Bulgarian House Restaurant
“Amazing place to taste exceptionally delicious food. Staff here is so friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend to others. Can’t wait to get back there.”
Ace Kebabs
“A kebab for any self respecting bloke is a fine way to end an evening out and Ace Kebabs didn't disappoint. Tender Lamb Shish, fresh salad on a plate with complementary pitta bread what more can one ask for. Spotless premises and a real bargain to boot.”
Surbiton Charcoal Grill
“Food was absolutely amazing, not tight portions and well worth the money. The call handler was patient with my order and got it right and the delivery guy was also very friendly. Will definitely order from here again, thank you”
Bamanoosh Persian Kitchen
“A great find. The food was delicious and the staff friendly and helpful. Whilst I have eaten in Persian restaurants before this seemed to a cut above. We ate in and it was pretty quiet but then it was 2.30pm on a Monday in January. Even then the food was fresh, moist and delicious. We shared a starter of Aubergine and walnut with amazing bread (Kashnk Bademjan) for mains we had slow cooked lamb neck with excellent rice. (Baghali Polo) Tender and tasty together with a first for us, Dizi a traditional lamp chick pea and veg stew in an earthenware pot (Which we got to take home) that you crush then roll in bread with fresh herbs and pickles - eating the liquid as a soup. Divine. I can't say if it is authentic but I get the feeling it is. I can say it is definitely great food and generous portions. Highly recommended”
Lebanese Express Halal
“Tasty homemade meals. Lovely owner, very helpful and polite. Tasty menu, tabulleh salad, baba ganouj delicious. Tasty chicken shawarma and falafel plate. Really tasty meal, reasonable price £50 for 4 people including drinks. Place worth to visit.”
Tolworth Fish Bar
“I have been coming here every Thursday for 18 years!! It started off as a treat when I was 11 after dance class and now has become a tradition. Seriously good quality fish n chips and goes nicely with a glass of wine. Don't listen to the 1* peasants below. They are what we call 'Karens' these days!”
Spice House
“We went for the first since the new administration took over Spice House and were quite happy with everything. We ordered Veg Fried Rice and Chicken Fried Rice. We asked for spicy food so the chef made sure to add 1000 green chilies! But surprisingly, the taste was great. Me and my wife both loved the food and the quantity was great too. It is not crowded anymore and thus a good place to have lunch for a good price, taste and quantity.”
Nawab to go
“Wow! a little gem of an indian takeaway hidden away in a small frontage... but definently doing big things Blink and youll miss it... We only happend to stumble across this place whilst parked up to get milk from sainsburys We ordered starters and mains for three. Food was plentiful and actually lasted for two days. A small portion if salad and free popadoms and dips came with the meal too We had the mixed grill + nan, chicken jalfrezi, chicken sagg and chicken dhansak (didnt order rice - we cooked that ourselves) The grilled mixed meat was exceptional. The guys have a proper tandoor and the meat was excellent quality. The lamb which can normally be tough was melt in the mouth. Spicing was really good with authenic levels of corrieander seed and chilli. There was little to no fat The best dish was the jalfrezi which was the nicest i have ever had. Completely different to what im used to. The chicken was so perfectly cooked. Soft juicy moist and the veg retained flavour and colour. Its actually top end resturant quality. The dhansak had a lovely balance of heat, sweetness and sourness. Really creamy lentil base. Fresh chillies are used to bring heat to the dishes so be warned and ask them to make it to your taste. The sagg was really fresh and again chicken cooked to near prefection. Nice and garlicy with again balanced spicing and a decent level of warmth Nann bread was average, it came with the mixed grill. Salad too was average. Quality of food was actually surprising coming from such a small place - well worth a try. The guy at the desk said their chef had 25 yrs experience which i well belive Thankfully these guys also deliver and their menu has taken pole position on our pile of indians to order from”
