“This was my first tattoo and from messaging Emma on Instagram she made me feel at ease and she was helpful but at the same time didn’t decide for me or push me into having the tattoo. In fact she told me to not rush and follow my heart. That it’s when I knew I wanted Emma to tattoo me! I went to chat with Emma before I booked and we looked at designs and she did some sketches and again she was so helpful, friendly and made me feel welcome even as a newbie to tattoos! “It's been a while since I had a tattoo so I was a bit nervous when traveling to the studio but as soon as I got in there I was welcomed to a hot beverage and warmth from every one of the staff members. The artist Flavia who tattooed me done such an amazing job and made me feel really comfortable throughout the whole process from beginning till the end. The staff made sure all clients in the studio were entertained as there was music playing and TV on in the background. “I always have such a good experience at Astrid & Miyu! The team are super friendly & professional, and the jewellery is beautiful. The shop is small (just a little store in Boxpark) & it can work out quite expensive as you pay a £20ish piercing fee on top of the jewellery which is £30 min. However, I do think it’s worth it for the quality of the jewellery & professionalism of the piercer! Also worth noting you nearly always have to book in advance & can’t just walk in. I’ll definitely be back!”
