Funaya (Japanese Supermarket - Sashimi & Sushi)
“First time visit was the first day of business! Very beautiful shop with a large variety of japanese grocery and sushi. There are so many options when it comes to sushi and sashimi.. some are not even available in high end restaurants! Definitely will visit again!”
YUME (Sushi Restaurant & Takeaway)
“Delicious food. Reasonable cost. We got donburi salmon teriyaki and veg curry. Reasonable portions. From the pictures I thought the crockery might be in plastic containers but the food was served in very tasteful japanese ceramics which makes a difference to me to the dining experience. Very delightful pretty surroundings. We were the only ones there, seems like leytonstone is pretty quiet for dining. They are not properly appreciated here! In central London I'm sure they'd be packed. We were there from 6.30-7.30pm or so. There were 2 deliveries collected whilst we were there and 1 guy who came for a take away. Seems more popular for take aways which is a shame as it's a lovely looking restaurant.”
Intoku Japanese & Sushi Restaurant Windsor
“Now if you like Sushi, this is where you have to go if your in the area. Small little place hidden around the corner from the castle, doesn’t seem big from the outside but as you head upstairs you find a cosy little restaurant buzzing with a relaxed vibe. The menu selection is impeccable and I can honestly say, this is the best Sushi I have had in a very, I mean very long time. Generous portions, super fresh, very tasty and brilliant staff. They do takeout too, but I prefer to eat in!”
Sugoi JPN - Japanese Latin Street Food - Takeout & Delivery in Shoreditch
“Sugoi is one of my go-to places to deliver food from whenever I have a sushi craving. The concept of a sushi taco is something I’ve never come across before but it works so well. It can be a bit messy to eat but that comes with the territory. The food is always so delicious and the flavours are spot on. I would 100% recommend Sugoi JPN to anyone who loves sushi and wants to try something new.”
Midori Japanese Restaurant
“Delicious Food. When I use to study nearby, Midori would be my absolute go to restaurant whenever I and my friends were feeling hungry. Service is amazing, wait time isn’t too long, and the food I always trust to fill me up. I always got the same bibimbap every time I went here, and I can say for certain it’s absolutely delicious.”
Yuhoki Japanese Restaurant
“Found this awesome sushi place on Google. Loved their service and sushi menu. I tried the sushi set for 2. Tastes great and totally worth it. Will visit again. I wish they open up more centres in central london.”
Achimi Japanese Beaconsfield
“First time at Achimi and was a great experience, quiet Sunday evening too. Staff were attentive and very nice, food was incredible! Tempura prawns are a must, lightly battered and juicy prawns. Duck spring rolls were great. Aromatic special roll was delicious!! As well as the spicy scallop temaki. Finished off with coconut mochi ice cream, first time trying mochi and it won't be the last!”
Xenia Japanese Restaurant and Bar
“I recently hired Xenia for a private party and I can’t recommend it enough! The place is so beautiful and the staff are amazing. They helped with all aspects of my party planning and all my guests had a fantastic night!”
米 kome japanese sushi
“I've only ordered off Uber Eats so far but the food is incredible. I've had two different bento boxes, the beef teriyaki and the chicken teriyaki. Both were really great. Good value for money, tasty, and filling. The Japanese wings and bubble tea are pretty good too. I would recommend it to everyone. Going to keep trying things from here including the sushi.”
kalaRED Oriental bar | Chinese restaurant | Takeaway Delivery
“Whenever me and the Mrs want to go out for a chinese we always go here! Food is always spot on, freshly cooked full of flavour and well priced. Easily the best chinese in town!”

Fortune Cat - East Barnet, London
“A nice restaurant to get some pretty good Chinese takeout. I have ordered there a couple of times on food delivery sites and couldn't pass up the opportunity to get a take out when I was in the area. The meals are good value for money in my opinion”
Sushi Rigon
“The best in town. Reasonable price, and the fastest delivery”
Komakai
“I am still wondering how is possible that komakai can deliver such an outstanding quality being a take away sushi business. Yes, you read correctly. We all know that sushi is not cheap. We also know that it is pretty hard to find a trustable sushi bar/restaurant. In London or where ever... I know about fish quality because my parents are fishmongers in Barcelona (enough said). And when you think your found one pretty acceptable then the bill arrives to the table and the price do not match with the quality delivered. That has been my main surprise with komakai. If you had this sushi served in a restaurant, the bill will be over £200 for 2 people’s dinner. Yes, £200! Please don’t take my advice for granted. Give it a go and you will be as pleasantly surprised as me. If you are lucky enough to live in south east London (or making a big enough order and further delivery can be considered) try Komakai. Check the pics in Instagram (komakaisushilondon) they speak by them self. Check my pics taken at home. Even my cat (Neo) realised about it! Bon appetite!!”
Bento Boys
“I was excited about this new Japanese restaurant that they open just yesterday. I went there today and I would definitely come back again. Staff are very friendly and my meal was really lovely (love the Unagi Don yum)! It does give me nostalgic memories of my trip to Japan in the past. I would recommend to give Bento Boys a try. You deserve a 5 star. ⭐️”
Sushi and Blossoms
“I found Sushi and Blossoms randomly online. The food was amazing, i loved it, very tasty. Also the people are super nice. 100% recommended.”
Sushi Moto
“Very delicious and tasty sushi. We ordered mega platter for 5 person it was just enough for everyone. Sub shell crab is item to try. Pint of asahi to beat the heat. Will visit again for sure.”
A One Sushi - Market Stalls Peckham
“I’ve ordered at the restaurant and through Deliveroo. Always so delicious and fresh! Best sushi I’ve had in London! The veggie 18 piece set is delicious. The staff are super friendly too.”
Maido To Go
“Really good quality sushi and really friendly and helpful staff. I got the deluxe platter for my two friends and I and it was more than enough food for the three of us. If I’m in the area again, I will be making another visit for a take away for sure.”
ikkyu conveni
“Incredible sushi and amazingly friendly people working there happy to make you what you want. Fast service fresh ingredients. A real gem. The store is also great. Will be coming back here often.”
Ohba Leaf Kitchen WALTHAMSTOW
“Our favourite sushi place in East London. Fresh, quality and simple clean flavours with their nigiri, and their makis/rolls really combine fantastic flavours and textures without over-doing it. Over years of eating here, the quality has been consistent and we keep returning!”
Cafe Yukari
“Customer service is excellent. There was a lovely lady working there! I ordered an iced matcha latte and jasmine tea. The matcha latte was not sickly sweet and it was just right like the Japanese way. One lady even gave me a free complimentary biscuit. If you are fan of japanese drinks I would HIGHLY recommend. One of the best and you won't regret it :)”
Marugame Udon Bromley
“Brand new Japanese restaurant that officially opened today. Superb food and great experience. Plenty of seating both inside and outside. The Katsu curry rice bowl and salmon fillet rice bowl tasted amazing.”
Sushi No Mai, Watford Market
“I want to give this place a bad review so the queue gets shorter and I can get back in easier! It might not look like much from the outside but there's a reason why this place is packed from the moment it opens. Fantastic food, friendly helpful staff and unbelievable value for money. Every single dish we ordered (sashimi, sushi, tempura, miso) was full of flavour and freshly prepared. I can't recommend this place highly enough.”
Yoshi Sushi
“Had a lunchtime hankering for Korean. I've passed this restaurant many times and thought that it was a sushi restaurant. Anyway the portions are huge easily satisfy two people per serving. Service was friendly and fast but dishes came out of sequence i.e. the main came first, followed by the starter and lastly the rice for the main arrived. The food was hot and the meat dishes were sizzling. The price was a little pricey but the experience was worth it. Looking forward to those Japanese fried oysters next visit.”
