“I usually eat at Patiala Xpress, however wanted to try some food from yaki ya, boy o boy was i amazed and blown away with the taste and the freshness of the food. I was speachless and the perfection of the food. Amazing katsu curry, bento boxes were out of this world Everyone should go and tey the food here Staff is amazing, very friendly and the experience was more than wow.”
Kawamura
“The best chicken katsu I have ever had. Really reasonable prices for the portions. Looking forward to visiting again soon!”
ii-ma Sushi
“Sushi is very fresh and wasabi has a good kick to it. Staff are amazingly nice and even brought out gluten free soy sauce for us. House sake was also quite smooth. Highly recommended!”
The Sushi Co - Putney
“I was very impressed when I checked out the new spot in town as the food quickly was excellent and staff was very helpful from start to finish.”
Mitsuryu
“Saw so many great reviews here so we went to buy some takeaway. Sushi was freshly made and delicious! Staff were very friendly and when they knew we will travel 1.5 hours back home, they offered to give us some ice packs and the sushi was still fresh when we got back home! Thanks so much and will definitely be coming back ;) And they also gave us some free salmon in vinegar which was appetizing too.”
Kampai Kensington
“Everything was impeccable at Kampai. I came with a large party and we ordered so many different items off of the menu and absolutely everything was delicious . I really have to recommend the yum salmon and spicy gesos but I have to say everything was great. Normally I much prefer nigiri over sashimi but the fish quality is to a high standard and all the sashimi and sushi is delicious . The taro ice cream dessert is a must try too. Service was fast and staff were friendly , I would definitely recommend .”
201 Asian Kitchen Pan-Asian & Sushi
“Thoroughly enjoyed the sushi here, excellent customer service and cosy setting, would definitely return.”
Toriton Izakaya
“Eddie and his wife Evvie (?) were the perfect hosts. Two of our group were gluten free and we rang ahead and discussed our food options with Eddie ahead if time. We were super confident that there was no cross contamination and they took our dietary requirements seriously. That aside , the food was amazing! Fresh, flavourful and just so tasty. I was a tad sceptical about this place in comparison to a London restaurant but I have to honestly say it may well have been better in flavour, service mist definitely was friendly and personable. Very much coming back!!! Thank you !!”
Takahashi
“This place bets their all on the food and it definitely pays off. The food is simply of a tier that is rare to find in London; compared to other high-end Japanese places, the quality and complexity of Takahashi’s dishes really shows. We ordered the omakase and all the dishes were very thoughtful and elegantly showcased the Japanese style. Sushi in particular was as good as you get in Japan. Also very competitive in terms of value. Decor and service is simple and a complement to the cuisine - no need for over-the-top extras here.”
Sushi Revolution
“I had to leave a review because when I say this is the best sushi my partner and I have ever had and think will probably ever have it isn’t an understatement. We have compared every place we have had sushi at since and nothing ever even compares to the standard of sushi here. Yes, it’s a bit pricier but it is well worth it for just how good it is. Cannot fault the service and hospitality of staff, lovely cute little restaurant just be sure to book on weekends because it does get busy☺️”
Go Kyoodai
“Had such an amazing experience ... Ordered today for the first time and loved it ! Comes in good portions , they delivered to me in less then 30 minutes , it came hot and was delicious ... Recommend 100%”
Ozuki Sushi & Pan-Asian cuisine
“Fantastic food - fresh sushi and the Mongolian dumplings were awesome. Fast and friendly service. Fair prices. Family-run restaurant. Highly recommend.”
Kampai Highgate
“You have to try this restaurant for yourself if you’re a sushi fan. Family run restaurant with authentic Japanese cuisine and spectacular flavour and quality. Went here for dinner on a busy day, but we were served in appropriate time with delicious food. Be mindful the restaurant section is not large, groups of 2-4 are probably ideal for dining in.”
Cocoro Highgate
“I ordered Tempura-don and Udon for my kids. They loved them so much! We are very happy that we can eat nice Japanese food in London. All staff are very nice and kind.”
YoKOYA - authentic omakase Sushi Kaiseki 寿司懐石
“A very unique experience of enjoying Japanesse cuisine. The chef used to do izakaya and just recently changed his concept to kaiseki. As like a normal kaiseki once you had your dessert you can enjoy their authentic Japanesse tea ceremony. All of the food are good. Good selection of sake, you can choose a set of sake to compliment the dishes. Bear in mind it takes time, last time it took 4 hours from start to finish, and you can stay more to enjoy more sake if you want to....”
Bento-ya
“First time trying this place and I had the chicken katsu box. It was very delicious and the customer service is amazing. The chef is very engaging with his customers and you can tell he is very genuine whilst holding a conversation which makes this place feel very warm and friendly. Will definitely come again :D.”
Sakura Sushi Bromley
“I’ve ordered delivery many, many, many times from Sakura for a couple of years now. I’ve eaten Sushi all over the world - really good, and really bad. Short of fine dining restaurants such as Nobu, Roka, and Zuma (which obviously don’t deliver to Bromley and Orpington lol) this is the best I’ve had in the UK. Constantly VERY reliable. Clearly it’s tough to nail presentation with delivery Sushi, but for a south-East London delivery provider (where we’re all sick of pizza, kebab, burgers, fried chicken, Chinese and Indian) Samira is a refreshing change I’ve also never had a single mistake in my order. FIVE STARS especially considering location. For simplicity, please get back on JustEat or UberEats.”
Feng Sushi Camberwell
“I became a take away fan of this place since I discovered during the lockdown and the true is that they never have let me down. I love their party platter as I can share and taste a bit of everything with my friends, their hand rolls and the poke bowls also are on the top of my favourites!. Great food, nice presentation and the service always above the usual...”
Sanjugo Angel
“Stunning restaurant with a warm welcome. A variety of dishes beautifully prepared by the chef! The food was amazing. I'm really happy for the vegan sushi and ice cream options (the ice cream was absolutely delicious). Everything tasted so good. Tea was the perfect end to this incredible dinner. Thank you very much for your kindness, good service and the gift bottles! The chef's special was much appreciated. Can't wait to go back! A must visit in London!”
Sanjugo
“Loved every bite. This was an amazing dining experience - everything was incredibly fresh (the salmon sashimi was especially to die for) and everything has come together in perfecrly matching flavours. Can't wait to be back, asap!”
The Sushi Co - Waterloo
“Recommended by my colleague to try newly open branch. I must say amazing service. Best service given by staff. It was busy and food was quick so no wait time. I have ordered and received my lunch in less than 15 minute. I really enjoyed Kastu curry . I am coming again soon to try new dishes. Please visit and try I am sure you will be amazed too by the service and food.”
Ona's Bento Sushi Bar
“Amazing, food is top quality freshly made, you won't find other sushi places like this in E3 amazing establishment and the people are kind and friendly. the shop inside is also really good the enviroment is like an Japanese sushi place.”
JET Sushi
“JET sushi is truly a hidden gem. The food is delicious with great variety and freshness. The scallop sashimi is a must-have; it is delicately prepared and melts in the mouth. There are also a good number of vegan and vegetarian dishes. The owner is really sweet and friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, service prompt and the food is extremely good value for money. If you're a sushi fan, you should definitely visit.”
Hotaru
“Smashing food from this little gem of a place. We had the chicken katsu and some sushi, all of which was excellent. The price is also very reasonable for sushi in London.”

“Freshly made dragon platter was too good. Staff was also good, they provide amazing service. I'll recommend this place to all sushi lover. Thanks”
Battersea Rickshaw
“Really good and interesting food. Nice casual room so not your typical restaurant dining feel. Service was fast and we were given great explanations of the menu and suggestions to match our tastes.”
Rayu Pan Asian
“What an amazing restaurant with outstanding service and great food . I wasn’t entirely satisfied with one item and they sent another completely to my satisfaction without complaint and without any request on my part. I was blown away! They take their service standards seriously! Try this restaurant . You won’t be disappointed !”
Shoyu Cafe
