“First time visit was the first day of business! Very beautiful shop with a large variety of japanese grocery and sushi. There are so many options when it comes to sushi and sashimi.. some are not even available in high end restaurants! Definitely will visit again!”

The food is simply of a tier that is rare to find in London; compared to other high-end Japanese places, the quality and complexity of Takahashi’s dishes really shows. We ordered the omakase and all the dishes were very thoughtful and elegantly showcased the Japanese style. Sushi in particular was as good as you get in Japan. Also very competitive in terms of value. Decor and service is simple and a complement to the cuisine - no need for over-the-top extras here.”

“10 + for seating area decor and for the Thai Chicken rice which consists of lightly grilled chicken pieces, green peas, shredded carrots and red cabbage, rocket leafs, and finely chopped spring onions and beansprouts on a bed of flavourful rice in a beautiful brown 'earthenware' type bowl. Equalling the well prepared dish is the good customer service. And that beautiful tray for serving the food. Excellent view. Outside seating and wheelchair accessible entrance. Allergen dietary requirements can be discussed with a member of staff. “Can't fault it. I always go for the chicken katzu if I want to have something to eat without experimenting. Complete meat. Or any other dishes I had here was always really good. You can now order on your phone and pay.. If you are the kind of person that don't like Interactions... The smoothies are also really good. “My first time here. The varieties of looks fresh but I got the cooked food I had spicy tofu and spicy deep fried chicken with noodles. The noodles are of lower quality, in my opinion. Yes, there are qualities of noodles. Of my 'spicy' dishes, they are not spicy at all for me personally. My friend had rice with sweet and sour chicken and spicy chicken (different from mine) and he said it was okish. My order was also okish. Overall opinion, do give them a try and make your own opinion. Would I go back again .. YES, to try the other dishes and sushi, which are what I like.”
