"Don’t go to this restaurant and definitely don’t order food from them. I ordered chicken teriyaki on Uber Eats from this place and they literally gave me cold, Stale white rice with chicken nuggets dipped in teriyaki sauce. This is not a normal chicken teriyaki dish. I think it’s a complete violation, this isnt acceptable, how dare they claim they are authentic when they literally put frozen chicken nuggets dipped in teriyaki sauce, mixed with rice and then call that a chicken teriyaki dish. 0 stars. Disgusting, cheap food."

"Very disappointed, we like our sushi and ordered here before, but this time was off - smelt bad, tasted off and created side effects. Cannot believe you can trade old sushi, it’s gross, I will not use Sushi Essence again."

"Had ordered twice from this place before when the sushi was excellent. Ordered again tonight but the sushi was clearly off. It smelt bad and tasted horrid. We barely ate a third before throwing it out. Raw fish is not something to mess about with and I'm angry they didn't do basic quality checks before putting our health in danger. We're now desperately hoping we don't get food poisoning overnight. Clearly will never order from here again. Completely unacceptable."

"Highly recommend this sushi takeaway. Dragon prawn roll was my favourite! The sashimi was very fresh. Also they we’re doing a buy one get one free offer on selected items on Uber. So managed to get the Katsu curry, gyoza’s and salmon set with the offer! Will definitely be ordering again!"
