Japanese restaurant near my location in Sidcup

“Really nice little restaurant. Street parking available around the area. Was a bit apprehensive at first, as they were selling both, Chinese and Japanese cuisine, as we had gone there predominantly for sushi. Needless to say, the food was GREAT!!! The guy that served our table was brilliant. Friendly, attentive, and always at hand. Definitely on my list of favourite restaurants!”

“I am still wondering how is possible that komakai can deliver such an outstanding quality being a take away sushi business. Yes, you read correctly. We all know that sushi is not cheap. We also know that it is pretty hard to find a trustable sushi bar/restaurant. In London or where ever... I know about fish quality because my parents are fishmongers in Barcelona (enough said). And when you think your found one pretty acceptable then the bill arrives to the table and the price do not match with the quality delivered. That has been my main surprise with komakai. If you had this sushi served in a restaurant, the bill will be over £200 for 2 people’s dinner. Yes, £200! Please don’t take my advice for granted. Give it a go and you will be as pleasantly surprised as me. If you are lucky enough to live in south east London (or making a big enough order and further delivery can be considered) try Komakai. “Great classic Chinese takeaway-a little family run gem in Sidcup. We’ve been coming here for years and the food quality is consistently good and amazing value. Excellent Chinese style curry and Singaporean Rice vermicelli our favourites. Pancake rolls are hand-made which means we’ll happily wait for delivery but if busy go and collect!”
