Taka Marylebone
“All of the seafood were fresh and tantalizing. Creativity underscores the presentation of each dish. The standout dishes were the wagyu sando, wagyu rice, and the most tender chicken we have ever tried. Veggie dishes are also available just in case you don't eat meat or fish. The service was top-notch.”
Machiya
“One of my new favourite restaurants. Very authentic. I’ve been wanting to introduce Japanese food to my friends for a while and this really was the perfect place. They don’t serve sushi, more so comfort food that I was used to eating at home in Japan. This is what made it so much more nicer, though. Upon arriving were greeted by a young waitress with short hair who was very welcoming and accommodating throughout our meal. She gave my friends a few recommendations which they all loved. A very generous amount of meat came with the Tonkatsu curry. The tonkatsu itself was crispy and seasoned enough to match the hot curry. As well as this, we ordered the tsukune and shake teriyaki which was even better than the curry. The salmon was seared nicely and the flavours of the teriyaki sauce were great. The tsukune with the sauce that came with it also tasted very good (even though it was very filling for a small plate). I will definitely be back and will be bringing more people here much more often.”
Yuzu
“Having eaten at many different sushi restaurants in the city I was looking for a small intimate place for a dinner with a friend. Yuzu had a fantastic atmosphere, small and cosy with a great opportunity to watch the chefs making the sushi. Food was tasty, great options and decent portion sizes. Also seemed very good value for money. I’d recommend the soft shell crab tempura roll, it was excellent.”
Sushi Point - Twickenham
“Excellent aromatic flavours that taste authentic. This is no cheap imitation - it’s the real deal. The food fresh and of a high grade. Even after I left, the mesmerising taste taste stayed in my mouth. I definitely will be buying from there again. The premises are very clean and attractive. Something that is always reassuring in the food trade. I’m very fussy where I eat and found the food to be easy on my sensitive stomach.”
Hare and Tortoise Chiswick
“The staff were super friendly. Food came quickly, and was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the katsu curry!”
Sushi Hana
“So far the best take away sushi I have had in London. We had our meal made to order and you could tell, quality ingredients that were well put together. Pricey but for a good reason and worth it.”
Kappa
“Fantastic experience and very tasty. Every dish from the menu was incredible. Probably the best fried chicken I’ve tasted to - which was quite unexpected. Would 100% come back”
Rikko

Tsunami Clapham
“Visited on a Friday eve without a booking. Excellent food and cocktails all round. Must order the Volcano sushi - insanely good sauce! Lovely waitresses too. Slightly pricey, but good quality for it.”
Hibagon Sushi & Grill
“Great food. Ordered a click and collect. Very fresh and would definitely go back. Restaurant looks very nice inside too and would love to eat in”
Akari
“Always a great Japanese dining experience at Akari! They have a great selection of classic dishes and the staff is always very attentive. Give it a try if you’re looking for great Japanese food in the Angel/Essex Road area.”
Yuriko
“This place is my go to spot for Sushi and Korean donburi! Always freshly made and the customer service is amazing! My favourite dishes are the Chicken katsu handrolls and their bang bang chicken donburi! Delicious!”
Moshi Moshi Sushi
“Surprisingly very authentic sushi - great quality, tasted delicious. We ordered £60 worth of sushi which they gave us this beautifully presented boat and we gave our preference of more salmon than tuna! Will go back again”
Yasaka Sushi
“Amazing food.. really enjoyed & I’m super satisfied with their friendly service as well. Well packaged.. Highly recommended & will order again.. BEST IN TOWN!”
Okko
“Visited on a Sunday at midday in early September. (Also ate here a few years ago.) I quite enjoy the restaurant. Easygoing vibes, friendly and attentive staff. Wide variety of dishes under the broad “Japanese fusion” banner. The food is generally delicious. Occasionally on the sweet and/or salty side, but it’s all very tasty. Most recently we enjoyed chicken ramen, miso aubergine, wagyu gyoza, sushi, miso-glazed salmon, soft shell crab tacos, and Korean fried chicken (“KFC”). Quite good value overall. Highly recommended.”
Two Kitchens
“Brilliant food and amazing service! Not only were the waitresses nice but they were very quick with the food aswell! The food also tasted amazing and I couldn't recommend more! Will likely go again...”
Benihana Chelsea
“Great experience! The food is amazing but watching them make it in front of you makes the experience completely different. Our cook was really funny, a whole culinary spectacle. You also get super full as the portions are quite big!”
Express Wok
“Reasonable price and excellent customer service with utmost patient; however, fries could have been better and crispy, Thai prawn cracker tastes better in 'spicy basil'. Recommend “Spicy Basil” Thai restaurant at Kilburn(Jubilee line). Very great food available with reasonable price. Food is still always awesome as years ago.”
Sir & Madam Thai Woking
“First time we ordered and couldn’t have been more happier. Delicious fresh food! Will definitely be ordering again.”
Mezcal Itto - Tacos & Sushi
“Creative and unique, authentic Mexican food! Amazing cocktails! Friendly and welcoming staff! Great music and hospitality, perfect for groups of friends. Defo recommend if you’re looking to try a new experience!”
Golden City
“My family and I have been coming here for 30 years. This place is still owned by the same family. I lived in the USA for 13 years and this take away was a must for me everytime I came home. I love the fried rice, the chow mein and the chips with curry sauce. My American friends loved this take out and no we know is ever disappointed with food or the friendly staff here.”
Taro - Soho
“Delicious and authentic Japanese food. Very friendly staff and great value for what you get. Highly recommend”
Oroshi
“What a lucky find. We got to the market about an hour before closing, but many vendors were already shutting down. We got counter seats here and had delicious food with great company in the kitchen! We ordered the pork dumplings, beef bento and pork belly ramen. Everything was so good, but the dumplings were the star of the show. We ordered a second serving! Definitely recommend going for the suggested chili oil on top. The chef also was happy to give us some recommendations for activities the rest of our trip. Such a great place.”
Brilliant Corners
“What a find! Had a gig in Dalston and was looking for somewhere to eat. The place we had planned, turned out to be takeaway only, and we saw Brilliant Corners nearby. Great service, delicious, freshly made sushi made for a great start to our evening. It was a set menu only optionat £35 p/p, however as we we planning to have sushi anyway, it was ideal for us. Definitely worth it though, highly recommend and will return.”
You Me Sushi
“I love this place! I came to London, especially, to eat here. The sushi is top notch, you can tell they use fresh ingredients and the staff was wonderful. I'd recommend you eat here any day of the week! Thank you You Me Sushi!”
Sushi Point - Kew Bridge
“Very good quality sushi, sashimi is very very fresh, good prices and amazing service team.”
Little Japan
“I don't totally get why people are complaining about this place! The food is amazing 10/10. The delivery ended up being much quicker than they said, super quick! Definitely going to order from here again, well done Little Japan! I ordered a range of stuff, have a look below;”
Tokyo Choice
“superb food! best japanese so far. must try in Watford! Genkoostu-age is what the first photo is. deep fried chicken joint marinated in japanese style. you have to get that! bento box is fantastic! best of all is the service. you have to find Derek! he is the best man there recommending best stuff. his smile will make your day.”
Hare & Tortoise Ealing
“Good service, quick food, nice venue. And very importantly, I didn’t feel rushed to pay despite the venue being full. You get 1.5 hours of mostly uninterrupted booking. The broth for curry laksa wasn’t as tasty as hare and tortoise in Chiswick in my opinion but the yaki soba was delicious.”
KOKORO Twickenham
“As a local customer i love to come here, its lovely atmosphere, excellent service, fresh sushi. I will definitely come back more often! I think they don’t have any wifi at the moment but its not a big problem for me.”
