IRO SUSHI (Slough)
● Closed“Honestly so so good. Staff are lovely, and as far as I know, every order is made on the spot. It seemed very very fresh. The standout thing about this sushi is the seaweed actually. I watched a show lately where they mentioned how chewier seaweed is better quality- and Iro’s seaweed on the maki was so delicious and chewy. The salmon tastes fresh with good texture, no gooiness or sliminess and it wasn’t smelling. Prices are very reasonable for high quality healthy food. Will be buying from here much more often.”

Sakura Yakiniku
● Closed13-14 Hampton Court Parade, Molesey, West Molesey KT8 9HB, United Kingdom“Visited here in December 2021 for a Xmas dinner. What a treat this was, dining experience is excellent as not only do you have the choice of sushi and large selection of other starters (including the rare Takoyaki, which is difficult to find) but also a bbq grill where you can cook marinated meats. I would highly recommend visiting and ordering the house special sushi which has eel, absolutely mind blowing.”

Staff were very friendly and when they knew we will travel 1.5 hours back home, they offered to give us some ice packs and the sushi was still fresh when we got back home! Thanks so much and will definitely be coming back ;) And they also gave us some free salmon in vinegar which was appetizing too.”

Kampai Kensington
● Closed“Everything was impeccable at Kampai. I came with a large party and we ordered so many different items off of the menu and absolutely everything was delicious . I really have to recommend the yum salmon and spicy gesos but I have to say everything was great. Normally I much prefer nigiri over sashimi but the fish quality is to a high standard and all the sashimi and sushi is delicious . The taro ice cream dessert is a must try too. Service was fast and staff were friendly , I would definitely recommend .”

-
Maki & Co
● Closed567 Garratt Lane, London SW18 4SR, United Kingdom“It is absolutely amazing and wonderful quality of ingredients. People are so welcoming and the venue is very clean and insta-style. The price might be seemed a bit expensive compared to something like wasabi, but when you eat it, you would know why. The ingredients are so fresh and the staff never cheat on foods. Try it and you’d never be able to stop coming here. I tried Earlsfield roll, crunchy roll and tempura udon. The Earlsfield roll contains silver cod and it disappears when you put it on your mouth.”

Toriton Izakaya
● Open“Eddie and his wife Evvie (?) were the perfect hosts. Two of our group were gluten free and we rang ahead and discussed our food options with Eddie ahead if time. We were super confident that there was no cross contamination and they took our dietary requirements seriously. That aside , the food was amazing! Fresh, flavourful and just so tasty. I was a tad sceptical about this place in comparison to a London restaurant but I have to honestly say it may well have been better in flavour, service mist definitely was friendly and personable. Very much coming back!!! Thank you !!”

Takahashi
● Open228 Merton Road, London SW19 1EQ, United Kingdom“This place bets their all on the food and it definitely pays off. The food is simply of a tier that is rare to find in London; compared to other high-end Japanese places, the quality and complexity of Takahashi’s dishes really shows. We ordered the omakase and all the dishes were very thoughtful and elegantly showcased the Japanese style. Sushi in particular was as good as you get in Japan. Also very competitive in terms of value. Decor and service is simple and a complement to the cuisine - no need for over-the-top extras here.”

Tomoe
● Closed292 Upper Richmond Road, London SW15 6TH, United Kingdom“Found this place randomly and spontaneously decided to book and come for a quick dinner. We sat at the bar which was cool and atmospheric. Food was all good and came quickly which was a place. Nice artistic interior and its awesome watching the chefs work in front of you at the bar.”

Sushi Revolution
● Closed“I had to leave a review because when I say this is the best sushi my partner and I have ever had and think will probably ever have it isn’t an understatement. We have compared every place we have had sushi at since and nothing ever even compares to the standard of sushi here. Yes, it’s a bit pricier but it is well worth it for just how good it is. Cannot fault the service and hospitality of staff, lovely cute little restaurant just be sure to book on weekends because it does get busy☺️”

Sushi Heads
● Closed205b Philip Lane, London N15 4HL, United Kingdom“Brilliant little sushi and Japanese grocery shop that is a family staple for us - we have been treating ourselves to their food every Friday for the last couple of years (and other times here and there as well). Naomi is a fantastic chef, sushi is lovely and also find out when they do hot food and check it out. Freezers are also full of little treats you can take away and enjoy at home, from green tea ice cream to mochis, to edamame and kimchi. You may also find hand made cards, little gifts like ceramic cups or special chopsticks, or other surprises - just check it out! You won’t be disappointed!”

Kampai Highgate
● Closed“You have to try this restaurant for yourself if you’re a sushi fan. Family run restaurant with authentic Japanese cuisine and spectacular flavour and quality. Went here for dinner on a busy day, but we were served in appropriate time with delicious food. Be mindful the restaurant section is not large, groups of 2-4 are probably ideal for dining in.”
-
Cocoro Highgate

-
YoKOYA - authentic omakase Sushi Kaiseki 寿司懐石
● Open“A very unique experience of enjoying Japanesse cuisine. The chef used to do izakaya and just recently changed his concept to kaiseki. As like a normal kaiseki once you had your dessert you can enjoy their authentic Japanesse tea ceremony. All of the food are good. Good selection of sake, you can choose a set of sake to compliment the dishes. Bear in mind it takes time, last time it took 4 hours from start to finish, and you can stay more to enjoy more sake if you want to....”
-
Bento-ya
● Closed“First time trying this place and I had the chicken katsu box. It was very delicious and the customer service is amazing. The chef is very engaging with his customers and you can tell he is very genuine whilst holding a conversation which makes this place feel very warm and friendly. Will definitely come again :D.”
-
Sakura Sushi Bromley
● Closed“I’ve ordered delivery many, many, many times from Sakura for a couple of years now. I’ve eaten Sushi all over the world - really good, and really bad. Short of fine dining restaurants such as Nobu, Roka, and Zuma (which obviously don’t deliver to Bromley and Orpington lol) this is the best I’ve had in the UK. Constantly VERY reliable. Clearly it’s tough to nail presentation with delivery Sushi, but for a south-East London delivery provider (where we’re all sick of pizza, kebab, burgers, fried chicken, Chinese and Indian) Samira is a refreshing change I’ve also never had a single mistake in my order. FIVE STARS especially considering location. For simplicity, please get back on JustEat or UberEats.”

Happy Sushi Takeaway
● Open“I don't normally like sushi but I absolutely love this place. Our order was prepared fresh with so much care and attention, it was a joy to see. They have great vegetarian and vegan options and the food is amazing. A very small place with only one table so it's best to take the food away but it's the perfect small restaurant to get food from when you are in the area.”
