It's a real treat, to visit this clean, modern salon, with its excellent, friendly, professional staff, special offers, comfy chairs, scalp massage, fresh coffee, with a bonus biscuit on the side. Dragon Express
● Closed“Of all the Chinese takeaway I've had in London, this is by far the most delicious. I had the dragon express special fried rice and loved it. Great portion size with a delicious sauce over vegetables, chicken, beef, and prawns. I also highly recommend the duck rolls. I'll definitely be eating here again!”

It is open all hours, one of few places that are open before I go for my commute Customer service is excellent. The Railway Tavern
● Open“Review of The Railway Tavern, Bexley Village. Me and wife went there for the first time, on a Sunday night in March 2022 - having heard they had karaoke. Arrived about 7.30 and it wasn't very busy so we got high chairs at the bar. DJ Duncan was already set up on a stage in the corner; he does a regular Sunday night session until 11pm. It's a bright, nicely laid out pub on the High Street, unsurprisingly round the corner from Bexley Rail Station and handy for buses including the 229. By 8.30 it was busy and by 9 it was HEAVING, mostly with the late 20's crowd but a fair few coffin dodgers (like us!) and one or two harmless weirdies. The hard working barmaids were run ragged. Great music and singers (mostly, but, well, it is karaoke!). Drink prices reasonable; £10 for a single Bacardi, a bottle of coke and a pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord (which was excellent!). A great night out. Recommended.”

The Millers Arms
● Open81 Bexley High Street, Bexley DA5 1JX, United Kingdom“Spent the afternoon and evening with a friend in the newly opened Millers. The landlord Paul made us very welcome and chatted about his plans and how he intends to run the pub. There are multiple screens that showed 6 nations rugby and the football. They dealt effectively and with no fuss when a group of ladies came in very drunk. The evening had a DJ and the place started to get busy. Paul had another 3 staff behind the bar, so getting served wasn’t a problem. The loo’s are in a separate building out the back. I’d like more choice on real ales, but that’s my only real criticism. Good luck with the future to all concerned and if Paul treats all his customers the way he treated us, he’ll make this pub a success quickly”

Crafty Wizards Preschool
● Closed“My son has been attending Crafty Wizards, Bexley Road, Avery Hill since sept 2021, he’s had a great start to he’s pre school education, the staff numbers mean he has a lot of support when it’s needed and he’s built great relationships with all the staff and they have taken the time to get too know him and he’s needs. It’s lovely knowing he’s safe and being supported during he’s sessions. The personal touches of feedback at the door at pick up with he’s key person and throughout the day on private social media is also an extra and an insight into he’s day. The management are always available in person, email or phone and couldn’t be more helpful.”

The Therapy Suite
● Open“I have my nails, hair and brows done here regularly. I have frequented many salons over the years from very high end Mayfair salons to local salons and I can say in all honesty that this is the best salon I have used. My nails have never been stronger; I get lots of compliments on my eyebrows and Louise is the best hairdresser ever to work on my hair. I have been to Robert Fielding, John Frieda, Nicholson & Griffin et al, plus countless local salons over the years, but Lou is the best. I cannot recommend this salon enough.”

Nisa Local
● Open“Staff are always friendly and helpful. The prices may not be the cheapest, but a reasonable selection for a small corner shop, and staff are constantly replenishing the shelves. As to the carrier bag charge - this is a law implemented by the government to help prevent plastic pollution a few years ago.”

Cleeve Park School
● Open“I have nothing but good things to say about this school. Both of my children have done well here. My son started in year 7 with good but not brilliant results, he is now in the first year of sixth form having gained 9 GCSE's a-b grades and is on course for university. My daughter is doing exceptionally well in year 9, in all subjects. They're not perfectly behaved, they have fun in school and and are both very active - they like being at school, never want to take time off and have always achieved high percentage of attendance. They also make no bones in complaining if something isn't right - but hopefully do it in a constructive way. As parents we try to always show solidarity with the school in front of the children, but when we do complain, the school are generally receptive and sort things out. There are no doubt very badly behaved children within school and Cleeve is in my opinion used as the local dumping ground for troubled children, but the school has an holistic approach to learning, it cares about each and every child as a whole It has some fabulous teachers Mr K - an amazing math teacher and form tutor, Ms Morgan - has the finger on the pulse with every child, Mr Bone - brilliant, Mr Luck, Miss Goody, Ms Crozier and the fabulous Ms Stokes to name but a few....... My children have had brilliant opportunities with this school Duke of Edinburgh award, skiing trips, choir, drama, french trips, competing in the bexley athletics, University trips, engineering awards, sports leadership, mentoring to name but a few. The school has lovely grounds and makes a real effort to keep the school tidy and clean despite the efforts of some pupils who obviously don't know how to behave. I think its very sad, that children/parents feel the need to say such awful things about their school without balancing their comments with all the efforts that are made for the children who want to learn.”
