“A very unique, quirky, whimsical place to visit! situated near the Brunel Museum & Mayflower & Ship pubs. Very close to the Thames river. 2 minute walk from Rotherhithe overground station. Its a very old warehouse-like an Aladdins cave & many stage props everywhere & paintings, statues, costumes (made for recent films-Little Women etc) Even the loos are lovingly decorated & homely! People are very friendly & welcoming. A film showing area-with armchairs & sofas on a graduated floor. Stage & theatre area up stairs. They make films there too. Give a donation at the Film night & other events are on most evenings. Like a little oasis... :-):-):-) ★☆★☆★♥”

You won't be disappointed. Offers evening shows, three course dinner, dancing, £59.50 per person, lunchtime shows, three course lunch, £55 per person, matinee shows offer afternoon tea £45 per person. Coaches welcome. Well worth treating yourself to a sing-along.”

“I am so happy I found this groomer for my Cockapoo puppy. He had two full grooms with Diana so far and each time she managed a complete transformation! From a scruffy bear to the softest and smartest teddy. Diana takes the time to listen to my expectations and knows how to create the most flattering shape for the individual dog. We get so many compliments! She gave great advice on home grooming routine and the whole experience felt very personal, not rushed and factory like other groomers. Nice and fairly priced accessories too.”

We were all stunned at the beautiful (and very generous!) bouquets we received, and the trust Georgina placed in me to return all the vases she had so kindly let me borrow at no additional cost. “Eddie and his wife Evvie (?) were the perfect hosts. Two of our group were gluten free and we rang ahead and discussed our food options with Eddie ahead if time. We were super confident that there was no cross contamination and they took our dietary requirements seriously. That aside , the food was amazing! Fresh, flavourful and just so tasty. I was a tad sceptical about this place in comparison to a London restaurant but I have to honestly say it may well have been better in flavour, service mist definitely was friendly and personable. “Brilliant little sushi and Japanese grocery shop that is a family staple for us - we have been treating ourselves to their food every Friday for the last couple of years (and other times here and there as well). Naomi is a fantastic chef, sushi is lovely and also find out when they do hot food and check it out. Freezers are also full of little treats you can take away and enjoy at home, from green tea ice cream to mochis, to edamame and kimchi. You may also find hand made cards, little gifts like ceramic cups or special chopsticks, or other surprises - just check it out! You won’t be disappointed!”

“A very unique experience of enjoying Japanesse cuisine. The chef used to do izakaya and just recently changed his concept to kaiseki. As like a normal kaiseki once you had your dessert you can enjoy their authentic Japanesse tea ceremony. All of the food are good. Good selection of sake, you can choose a set of sake to compliment the dishes. Bear in mind it takes time, last time it took 4 hours from start to finish, and you can stay more to enjoy more sake if you want to....”

“Hands down the best sushi and omakase experience you can get in the whole of the UK. The quality of ingredients is second to none, and the atmosphere is so intimate and friendly you get to know everyone at the bar. Staff are attentive and the owners promote conversation and really get to know you and everyone else. In between each plate you spend time talking and watching Toru do what he does best. If you can manage to book, this is something you don’t want to miss. I will definitely be coming back, and hopefully become a regular!”
