“Today my family and I visited Tortilla in Watford. We have been regular customers here for years, but must mention how great the restaurant is. The food is lovely, the staff are attentive and approachable plus the restaurant is clean and well presented. Great job Tortilla Watford. Wouldn’t chose anywhere else. Well Played!”

“My mother stayed here on night of the 12th Feb as we had just finished a holiday, I live local and she needed help getting to the train station early in the morning. We arrived late and was greeted by the night shift manager/ supervisor who was on reception. He was brilliant and very helpful. My mother told me in the morning that he even helped her with breakfast as she was the first one up!! Brilliant customer service by the supervisor (who I understand cycles locally to work on his push bike). Excellent work, well done to him! 5 stars”

“Lovely store, parking available nearby and around the side. Good variety of stock with good dates. The aisles are free from clutter unlike other competitors in local stores (whilst unsightly, is a danger when having mobility issues) Staff are approachable and helpful. Had the need today for a home delivery via deliveroo delivery guy was very pleasant and got everything I ordered packed nicely and all with good dates. Thank you.”

I understand this place is under threat of closure . I think people should work hard to protect this kind of establishment, so much better in quality and taste than the chain fast food places.”

“We had a quick dinner here before our visit at the WB museum, very good and nice staff, friendly to foreigners and helpful, the food was prepared from fresh ingredients, tasted amazing and had a lot of spice and herbs used in it, which gave it the right flavor and I was surprised by the low price compared to other places in London. If you are in this area and hungry, I recommend this place.”

“Clean, Tidy , humble store ! Love the atmosphere. All items are reasonably priced. Compare them to other Persian/ Iranian super markets in London. The owners Nez and Peyman are so polite and kind towards their customers. They always smiling ! Which is great. All products are fresh and great quality as I mentioned before they don’t rip you off ! It is great that they don’t force you to pay by cash ( like other Iranian supermarkets, we all know why lol ). They accept all cards . Everything you need in your local off license . The cafe section is ace. Owner’s daughter running the Cafe section ! Great Coffees and smoothies . Butcher section : Fresh meats and chickens always available at great price Veg and fruits: Fresh and organic and cheap Over all fantastic Family run business. We will definitely keep shopping there To support them”

“This lounge/ restaurant is amazing. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, the shisha quality is the best I have ever had and I have been to a number of places. They have recently refurbished so to those who have not been in a while you should definitely check it out again! Very happy overall. Many thanks to the staff, especially Danny. See you guys soon.”

“Lovely new store. Shelves full of some known brands alongside some foreign brands. Prices are really cheap and great value for money. Instore bakery is really well stocked and has little veg pizzas which tasted really lovely. Easy to navigate around the store. Pushchair friendly. Clear signs for all the aisles. Not a big range of bread when I visited but the prices are really good. Less than 50p for a large loaf. Will buy one to try next time I’m there. They have loads of tills but only one or two open. I used the self check out which was really easy. Will visiting a few times a week I think to get some fantastic bargains. Not a lot of veg options in the freezer section. Only one type of veg burger that I don’t like. Loads of ice creams and desserts. The entrance is down the side and there is parking available in an underground car park. 55 spaces I think.”

“This was surprisingly a great little chill spot with good tasting food. I was expecting bland bar food, but got very tasty meal, the cheese burger was really juicy and tasted like it was made fresh and not from frozen patties. Drinks service was a bit slow because the place was crowded but this comes with Friday nights I guess.”

“Smart and spacious layout this is only about 100 metres from Carpenders Park station and parking is available directly outside and in the carpark on the opposite side of Station Approach. We phoned but couldn't get through. Shortly afterwards they phoned back. Placed order for collection. Adequate waiting area for collection. Staff were welcoming and attentive. The food was excellent, well cooked good ingredients and not greasy. The King prawn Jalfrezi and fish Buna are highly recommended. Will definitely be visiting again, we will try sit down.”

“Great pub, wonderful atmosphere. Really enjoyed the beer garden. The male barman with the beard and spiky hair was very entertaining and very knowledgeable on his ciders (I think his names began with a T, can't quite remember). The lady bartender with the tattoos was also a joy to be served by. All in all will recommend to friends and family when I come back to Watford next.”
