“This place was great! Authentic German restaurant with nice outlook over the river. Wait staff dressed accordingly and everyone was very welcoming. It’s very meat based (as would be expected) but they have some veggie/vegan options which my friends enjoyed. I had sausages, mash and sauerkraut which was yum! And of course all the beer and wine is German too. Recommend booking ahead as it gets busy - but we were luckily able to get a walk-in on a Saturday night. We were in the smoking area outside but no one was actually smoking. Tables are big and good for groups. Will be back!”

“I always come to this salon if I want a pedicure. Compared to other places, the price is reasonable and the service is good. They do get busy (as they are popular) so I always try to book now. There is a good range of nail colours and the ladies who have done my pedicures have always been thorough and done a great job. I go for gel polish and find it lasts me well. I would recommend a pedicure here. The staff are always polite and helpful.”

“Thai on Thames is such a hidden gem. The food is delicious and the staff are so lovely. Our favourites are the Pad Thai, massaman curry, fried cod in curry sauce and the calamari! Definitely try this place if you are in the area”

“A excellent range of real ales and ciders . A large interior with a bar in the middle. Snooker table and board games available. A exchange book service too. Also does pizzas to eat in with which where very nice as we tried three out of the four on offer Light music on throughout the pub and TV Screens showing sport but they will switch off if annoying.
