“Went here for the first time on Wednesday and was back on Friday for my wife's birthday. It is in a different league to you standard Indian. The chef is brilliant, a true gentleman and produces outstanding food. I can't recommend it enough.”

“Second time dining here with quite a large group of friends. I absolutely love dosas and the ones they serve here really hit the spot.. They have a great variety of sides and curries are all very tasty and of reasonable portions. You can also ask for extra or less spice with your orders. Love the friendliness of the owner and all the other staff too. Would recommend and definitely visit again :)”

“Have dined a number of times and never been disappointed. As it was bonfire night a friend and I decided to get a takeaway. The food was beautiful, hot, with all the right spices, making it the same as if dined in. What was exceptional was that 2/3 minutes after opening the takeaway bag I realised that one item was incorrect but as we liked this starter anyway we decided not to bother to do anything. However the phone went and panorama rang, full of apologies and sent a driver out with the item we had ordered. I said it didn’t matter but they insisted. I thought this was great customer service. Amazing food, never disappointed completed with great customer service by lovely people”

“I wish I’d taken more photos because these 2 don’t really do the food justice. The quality and variety is what stood out for me - starters such as Jeera Chicken made with chicken on the bone, cassava root with garlic and chilli and paneer shashlik were my favourites. Great atmosphere and service as well, plus the wonderful Tusker beer, I highly recommend this place!”

“Delicious, sumptuous and authentic Indian food minus the oil. It was a birthday meal for my son and he loved his meal of Chole Bhature. We ordered some mixed snacks (Sev Puri and Dahi Puri) and Special Thali which came with a nice masala Tea. The host was amazing and food recommendations were highly appreciated. In all, the family had a good time ! Will visit again in the future.”

“Excellent. Authentic tasty well prepared Indian food in a big modern clean kitchen. Friendly fast service. This will be my go to Indian take away from now on. I can’t wait for the small dine in area to be open. It will also be licensed. Perfect.! “Newly opened (July 22), and very welcome to Ickenham. Smart interior design. Menu with some unfamiliar items which are mostly just your curries under different names. Extensive vegetarian options. Standard bar. Food was really good. Service a little hesitant as team settle in. Prices low now because of opening promotion.”

“We are have been eating here for two years now. We visit at least once a month because of the delicious homely food served by the lovely and friendly owner Vikram. We are vegan and Vikram caters to our vegan needs very well. They have plenty of vegan options as well (except yogurt and dairy based desserts). They can make Puran Poli vegan though which is a huge plus :)”

“Great tasting and authentic Indian food. The naans are baked at the restaurant (not out of a packet). The variety is good and taste is authentic. I ordered a Panner dish with garlic naan and it was awesome! Ended the meal with an kulfi, which was fantastic as well.”

There was a glitch with the online booking system which meant they were not expecting the 10 of us, but Saraswati made arrangements to find us a suitable area of the restaurant swiftly. “3 of us turned up at 6.30 sat evening expecting not yet to be very busy and already nearly full. Good sign. Very much enjoyed our meals; all the usual fayre on offer and was all very good quality. The Complimentary glass of House Red was most welcome too! Staff very attentive and the wait for food a very reasonable 20 minutes. Could not eat all we had ordered and they happily put rest in take away containers for us to take home. All in all a very good experience”

“Awesome lunch . I've been here a few times, and yesterday I visited again. I was not disappointed. Rice, Dal, sambar , mutter paneer, chicken with garlic and pepper ( so hot and delicious) . If you're in London looking for authentic Indian meal then this is it. This is the cafe for a hostel so food is served only at fixed times . Please check the timings before you go.”

“We used the restaurant for the first time two days ago for a family takeaway. We ordered around 10 dishes and every single one was delicious. Vegetables tasted freshly cooked and sauces and spices subtle and delightful. Prices also very reasonable. Don't normally bother to post reviews but feel this restaurant deserves a good one, knowing few can afford to waste money on disappointing food in these difficult times.”

“The service from the staff was great, David and Kelwin were very attentive and ensured we were happy and that we had everything we wanted. The food was absolutely gorgeous, the chicken was tender, the rice was fresh and the naan & poppadoms were cooked perfectly. The restaurant is nice, Morden and spacious with plenty of drink choices and nice music. Definitely one of the best curries we’ve had in a long time and will be back again.”

I've given it 5 Stars because I think it's worth more than 4. Reasonable prices and the fact that you can take your own drink makes it a cheaper night. Definitely worth a try.”

“We moved here recently and my girlfriend was intrigued by the incredible smell coming from the place. After eating here tonight. Wow. The starters we had were incredible but the curries we had for mains were unbelievably good. The aubergine curry in particular. Missed desserts to have cocktails instead and on top of his exceptional service throughout, Nandhu makes one of the best espresso martinis I've ever tried. We can't wait to return.”
