“Britain’s oldest purpose built cinema delivers every time. We watched Nomadland here yesterday and some films are just made for the big screen. So much crying in the dark. The top floor bar is sadly still closed. But the process felt very Covid safe and well organised. Staff are always lovely.”

“Was blown away by a superb dinner here on Sunday night. The service was friendly and helpful with simple things like taking and hanging up coats and brilliant with more complicated things like a food allergy. We had three courses and drinks. A great variety of food and drinks on the menu to suit everyone and the food was spectacular. My sea bass was perfection and my husband said the same of his lamb roast (a Sunday specialty). The restaurant fit out is top quality and the soft music and lighting excellent. Highly recommended. We will be back regularly and plan to bring friends and family.”

“Excellent beer from the cask. Always a decent selection that changes. They also have an area for the enjoyment of beer outside. Apparently they also serve decent wine and 'craft beer'.. so you could take a friend who likes that kind of thing.”

“Lovely place, right by the river and Hammersmith bridge, with a cinema and a cafe/restaurant, with lots of drinks. The restaurant is a nice place to go for a snack, lunch/dinner, or for a drink in the evening, and there is a quiz night every fortnight.”

“Really happy to have a cinema within walking distance, and the occasional special showing (cult movies etc) is a good excuse to get people from outside Catford to visit :). The recent art market was amazing. Great also to come here with a laptop in the evening, get a milkshake, and try and be productive.”

“Great experience! Happened to be watching Avatar (3hr movie) which totally made it worth every penny. Bought the upgraded premier seat, but did not notice any apparent differences from the “normal recliner”. Cinema was dark right from the beginning, so be prepared to turn on your torch to find your seat.”

She supported the organisation and Co-ordination of the event, including a brilliant set menu. Catarina helped booked the Orchard Room and catered highly to dietary requirements. This was incredible birthday, fantastic event and great food. Highly recommend to book Megan’s for group events and dinner. The grilled chicken to the beef short ribs and lamb to my favourite hot cookie dough. Thank you again Megan’s!”

“Ordered ticket online and went in for the VIP experience. It really does make you feel very important. The selection of sweets, treats and ice cream was incredible. The lift to the private VIP area was elegant. There is a lounge area to relax in before the movie. The seats in the cinema were very spacious, private and have an amazing view of the screen. All I’m all a super luxurious experience. Highly recommended the VIP feature in this cinema. It is also very close to some great shops near by Nandoos, five guys, heavenly deserts etc”

“An amazing cinema with a great viewing experience. It boasts a massive range of screens with a good handful being IMAX. The drinks are refillable and quite cheap. All seats in EVERY screen are reclining and tickets do not cost much, and cost less on certain days. Altogether an amazing cinema.”

“Visited on a Sunday at midday in early September. (Also ate here a few years ago.) I quite enjoy the restaurant. Easygoing vibes, friendly and attentive staff. Wide variety of dishes under the broad “Japanese fusion” banner. The food is generally delicious. Occasionally on the sweet and/or salty side, but it’s all very tasty. Most recently we enjoyed chicken ramen, miso aubergine, wagyu gyoza, sushi, miso-glazed salmon, soft shell crab tacos, and Korean fried chicken (“KFC”). Quite good value overall. Highly recommended.”
