Everyman Borough Yards
“Small but great Everyman cinema very close to my residence. The staff is courteous and extremely attentive. Fun vibe, good food and great drink options. So happy I discovered this place!”
The Ryan Theatre
“Went to see granddaughters play. The Theatre was very clean and very comfortable chairs.”
Incognito Theatre
“Incognito are a fantastic company, I've been going for many years and everything I've seen has been done very well. Even if it's a play I'm not particularly keen on, I can still enjoy it because of the wonderful performance. I recommend this company very highly, do go and give them your support.”
Theatre Royal Drury Lane
“Oh my, Wow, this theatre is well looked after from the impressive facade to the sweeping staircases this has it all in front of house, it's not let down by the staff either courteous friendly knowledgeable, but then you go into the theatre proper and it delivers, from the monogrammed carpet and beautiful velvet seating (also monogrammed) the whole thing is impressive, such wonderful sconces and architecture, you can even have afternoon tea there, either in a small piano side room or the main area. The stage is large and gives the stage show and visual prowess that is simply breathtaking. If you have tickets to a show here then you are definitely in for a treat.”
Prince Edward Theatre
“Small charming theater, with several hits showing one after the other. In Soho, on a street full of restaurants and bars -- many of them offering early dinner for a fixed price-- so that combining dining and the show is very easy and convenient -- and very close to Chinatown, 7 Dials and Covent Garden, if you need more options. Discounts on same day tickets at the box office; tickets sold online on different sites so that it's wise to compare prices.”
Sondheim Theatre
“Chinatown on a Sunday afternoon before going to see Les Miserables as a Father's Day pressie from my 3 kids. Fantastic show. Bawled my eyes out!!”
Street performers Covent Garden
“We thoroughly enjoyed watching a performer. He was outstanding. But we didn't have any cash so couldn't pay him.”
Bocketts Farm Park
“Bocketts farm is a lovely day out for family especially with younger kids. I've been many times over the years particularly because it is one of the farms where you can get closer to the animals to feed them, rather than using those feeding tubes, which I know are safer but are less fun. There are lots of added activities for kids to enjoy such as the crafts corner, soft play and jungle gym, a big tractor and toy car area, bouncy castle, trampolines, go carts, sand pit, park and a bubble disco. They also still do the pig race which is great fun for everyone. We ate in the restaurant in the main entrance. I really enjoyed their mars bar cake. My friends had the ham and cheese toasties which also looked nice and juicy.”
Cedars Nature Centre
“It's definitely worth visiting this lovely little place. Cheap entry and worth every penny. Staff are super nice. Spoke to one volunteer who was feeding a tiny hedgehog called pinky. 100% recommended”
Fever & Boutique - Epsom
“The place is electric and the bar staff are amazing especially the guy with a man bun mat I think his name was. 10/10 would recommend”
Epping Reef & Reptiles
“I have just been to the Epping Reef and Reptiles store. I have been to many stores and never seen one so clean and where the animals look so well looked after! Louis from the store even took the time to talk me through the different reptiles and what’s needed for each of them. I honestly can’t recommend highly enough! Will definitely be frequenting that store”
Scooby Doo's Chislehurst
“Super awesome groomers. Lovely staff who really care for the dogs and do a fantastic job....and all at a reasonable price. Would heartily reccommend and will be using them again!”
The Swarm
“Best experience in the park and most efficient operations team both days I was there. Went on it over 10 times before lunch with an Island Unlimited pass and every ride was insane, and insanely comfy. Really fills its roll as the newest coaster with the comfiest restrains in the park. I will live and die by back right or front left every time, with back right being the most intense as you get whipped about for some stellar Gs. Very highly recommended.”
Alexandra Park & Palace
“Great experience! I went for the Sunday Farmer's Market, which was small but interesting, and then stayed to have a look at the park, since I'd never been. It's beautiful and very relaxing, plenty of happy dogs, families and people reading books in the sun. From the palace at the top of the park, you can see the City with the Shard in the distance. They also seen to have a calendar of events organised, and an indoors ice rink. I'm pretty sure I'll be back!”
Monsters of Art Studio & Gallery
“Got my first tattoo done here 5 years ago and I wouldn't go anywhere else!! I am currently getting a tattoo done here again! Best parlour ever, hands down!! The layback vibe, creativity, professionalism, cleanliness, atmosphere... You seriously don't want to go anywhere else!! Dan Gold is the best and only picks the best!! 10 stars out of 5, for real for real!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”
One by One Tattoo
“I cannot recommend One By One enough (and a special shout-out to Thiago)! Great studio and everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Thiago made me feel at ease and comfortable from start to finish and I couldn’t be happier with my tattoos - an incredible artist. I’m already planning to book in my next with him. This is your sign to book in those tattoos!”
Noble Ink
“had a brilliant experience here such lovely staff I couldn't ask for more xx so happy with how my tattoo turned out definitely going here for any more tattoos I might get in the future shabs was amazing xx”
Kapak Turkish Restaurant
“Been to many Turkish places in London but this one by far had the best meat quality and the way it’s cooked is just unbelievable! Definitely 5 stars. Only thing which can be better is the size of the sauce dressings as it’s only one spoon full and maybe dates to break your fast would be recommended. Will be coming back to try the other dishes!”
Gece Ocakbasi
“I’m pregnant and really wanted a iskender .I left a note for it to have plenty of source ,it was lovely so full of taste fresh it was Hot me & my husband really enjoyed the food .I would defiantly order again rice & salad freshly made tastes amazing”
Sollip
“Our meal at Sollip was absolutely exceptional, from start to finish - we enjoyed flavours we'd never tasted before and combinations of ingredients that were a real delight. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and knowledgable and made the entire dining experience a memorable one. I love how they asked which our favourite course was - because in all honestly, I couldn't answer! The wine pairing was also first-class. I'd recommend Sollip to anyone and everyone who appreciates good quality ingredients, fantastic cooking and attentive, friendly and down-to-earth service. Wynwood Art District
“Never tried Wynwood before but will definitely go back, the beef sandwich with horseradish was so good and only about £5 which was really good value, the brocolli soup was also very tasty and the staff are lovely”
BAFTA
“BAFTA a rich heritage of the British film industry truly lovely place to visit when invited. (You must be a member to be able to get access to the luncheon area on the 4th floor.) The Venue is packed with memorabilia with famous celebrities decked out onto the walls and the bathrooms are modern and well presented and very clean The staff are really friendly, polite and very accommodating. The one thing that makes it a really enjoyable visit is that it's a really relaxed atmosphere. The food is really well prepared and well presented and very enjoyable, prices are cheaper than most venues in London and you can talk shop without having fear of hearing loud music. I would recommend that you go out on the balcony and take in the London atmosphere. If you ever get the chance to be invited for lunch, it's an experience that you will definitely not forget.”
The Broadway Theatre
“I came to this theatre for the 2nd time to see the fantastic Ben Thompson. Staff were helpful and attentive, the seating was very comfortable and their prices for drinks reasonable. I love the intimacy of this venue. this will not be the last time I return to this beautiful venue”
Apollo Victoria Theatre
“Great musical with great sloped seats so the stage view is not blocked by a tall person sitting in front. The performers are wonderful too. I’ve seen wicked twice!”
Cambridge Theatre
“A lovely theatre, very reasonably priced. Matilda was amazing. The little girl playing Matilda (Laurel Sumberg) was out of this world. Best west end musical I have ever had the pleasure of watching! Looking forward to seeing it again.”
Duchess Theatre
“The show was super fantastic. The Play Goes Wrong. The bar was very good, too. I bought a salted caramel popcorn. I put it under my seat. When the lights turned on and I wanted to take out my popcorn a real mouse ran out. But okay, because she was cute and hungry. ...and this night the thing went wrong, anyway. The theatre was clean and really everything was top level.”
Compass Theatre
“Always a pleasant experience when visiting. Lovely shows and comedy events..staff very friendly and helpful”
Hampton Hill Theatre
“Spacious, entrance bar area. Friendly staff, reasonably priced drinks and ice cream. Comfortable seats in Theatre good views. Always great shows.”
Chiswick House and Gardens Trust
“A classic designed house with acres of beautiful gardens, trails + a working kitchen garden. A wonderful day out exploring this place, have a picnic or check out the cafe with seasonal produce from the kitchen garden.”
Role2Play
“Lovely cafe and play area for babies to pre-schoolers. Clean and maintained well. Play area is divided in to 8 pretend play rooms with lots of pretend play toys and ride-on toys. There's also a small section for young babies who aren't crawling. Cafe has hot drinks, toastie and warm sandwiches, the open plan design of the space makes it easy for the parent to sit at the cafe and enjoy a cuppa whilst their tot plays.”
