Every time I visit these guys, I arrive looking far too unkempt for public consumption. No matter what I throw at this barbershop dream team though, they deliver the goods every, single time. Simply put, they are very, very good at what they do. Ultra consistent and mega talented. The best barber experiences aren’t solely about the skin fade and ear trim though and trust me, these guys have it on lockdown. You want to talk sport, Greek mythology or whether it’s cod or haddock with your chips? No problem. You want to sit in silence and enjoy 30 minutes of peace and quiet away from your hyperactive kids and loving partner. No problem. Homemade coffee on the house? Standard. Newspapers, magazines, Mensa quiz whilst you wait? They’ve got you. When it comes to the ultimate barber shop experience, they’ve got the whole playbook. As a tight Yorkshireman, I tip very selectively but these guys, they genuinely deserve it. You always leave their shop with the sun shining and the birds on the church roof singing a little louder.
