“I get my Kebabs from here most Friday nights. They are truly authentic Cypriot Souvlaki kebabs and pretty much the best you'll find for miles. They are cooked on charcoal which is the how it should be. The portions are good at a fair price, so good value for money. Lots of other things on the menu too. Service is great”

“This is hands down the best Kurdish / Kebab place on Green Lanes. Don’t be fooled by the glitzy mega kebab restaurants down the Main Street. This is the only place worth visiting on Green Lanes. They make their own tandoori bread, and once seated you are greeted with pickles and lovely warm soup. The kebabs are expertly seasoned and served without fuss - but with tons of intense charcoal grilled flavour.”

“Consistently good service and food. Just visited Sumak again for early Sunday dinner and was pleased to see that the quality of food and level of service was consistently great. From the greeting as you enter the door to the thank you and good bye as you leave you cannot fault this team. The staff are all very attentive, professional and pleasant. The food was as fresh and tasty as always. I highly recommend visiting Sumak if you want want an all round great dining experience. You will not be disappointed.”

“South Bromleys hidden gem, this is the best Turkish Kebab house in the south east of London, it knocks most Turkish restaurants off their pedestals. Its spotlessly clean, the usual favourites are there but made with the best ingredients, cooked to perfection and served with a smile. There is also a good range of Meze to elevate this humble fill your stomach honest take away for the drinkers to a treat for the whole family to enjoy at home. It is also served with Turkish pilave rice as well as the usual salad. You pay a bit more here but it's worth every penny. I should know being Turkish in heritage. The only disapointing thing is that I live just to far for it to be my local Kebab house.”

The restaurant is clean very spacious and has beautiful decor . The prices are extremely competitive to other Turkish restaurants we have been too in Hornchurch. We live in Emerson park and this restaurant is very convenient to walk to. It surly is making an impact in Hornchurch as the restaurant was busy today . It is child friendly and there are disabled access and a disabled toilet . We sat outside and it was very hot sunshine but the canopies made good shade and comfortable seating. Loved the vegetarian options (the cauliflower fish was my favorite), very attentive and polite stuff, great music and choices of wines and cocktails. Creamy chicken was also a great hit for us. Main courses include several varieties of grilled mashaw served on Lebanese bread (some options for 2 persons), a few seafood options, and a dozen house speciality dishes. Set menus are available with a mixed mezza starter. The options for dessert are rather limited but include delicious baklava so I'm not complaining!
