SOSSO Charcoal Meze and Fish Bar
“If you are looking for an authentic Turkish food like you get in the back streets of turkey this is the place. Adana kebab like you have never tasted before. Salad is fresh and the bread is out of this world. The shop is newly made and the attention to detail is amazing. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend this place. Coming back for more amazing food and more of the Turkish tea I was given whilst waiting for my food.”

“The servers were very attentive to our group requirements. The lamb was tender, juicy and crispy on the outside. The hummus was silky and full of flavor. The salads were fresh and tasty. The owner shared the time between cooking the food in the kitchen and welcoming the customers in a friendly way. Thank you! It was a great experience and we highly recommend this place.”

Eclectic mix of staff from the Middle East including Isreal and Syria . The chef is called Guy and cooks delicious food with love. We were served by Mohammed , Gally and Ali who were very friendly.”
Tarboush
“Up there as one of our favourites. Bring your own alcohol, they will add a small corkage fee. which always makes it a cheap night out. Food is amazing and you always want more even though you are stuffed. You can order shisha in the garden area. Garden area is fully heater and roasting on a cold November night. I didn’t want to leave. They also have a big screen in the back for footy. Went on a Tuesday night wasn’t overly crowded. Get the Baba Ghanoush 5* They add 10% service charge to the bill”
Hanush Lebanese Charcoal Grill
“Very tasty food and friendly staffs. Our favourite is the chicken shawarma wrap.”
Lara Restaurant
“Great little Turkish restaurant. Not the kind of place where the humus and baklava is out of a packet. Everything is homemade and served with pride and care. I usually get a takeaway but I would also recommend have a lunch here on the weekend. Their upstairs seating area looks out onto the park and is nice and cozy.”
Al-Saha
“Friendly staff and value for your money (for 6£ you can get a huge falafel wrap and chips). The food is cooked well. I have never checked out the back but it seems like a lovely sheesha area.”
Al Arez
“Perfect place to go to if you crave Middle Eastern food and lovely service. We will definitely come back.”
Ganoush Lebanese Grill
“YUM! Friendly service, delicious food made fresh and reasonably prices. We are vegan/ vegetarian and their seitan was the best one I’ve ever had. You can tell the owner puts a lot of pride into the food and restaurant. Richard kindly offered us a vegan main dish when there are only meat options on the menu. Spiced seitain, wonderful rice, pickled cabbage and a salad - a big meal for an affordable price. We also had a freshly made ginger carrot juice for £3.50 which I thought was very reasonable. Thank you, Ganoush! We hope to be back.”
