It's an intimate space perfect for independent screenings, and the quality of the screen itself is top notch. The staff and service were also very inviting and chilled, complemented by the bar and lobby area which you couldn't get in a 'proper cinema' - could not have picked a better place to screen my debut short. “This theatre is outstanding: helpful staff, very comfortable & of unique decor. The performance itself is unmissable, whether or not you're originally a fan of opera singing. Christine's soprano voice is remarkable & along with the gifted acting amongst the cast, the show will blow you away. I literally had my mouth wide open a lot of the time! The famous scene of the chandelier falling is enjoyable, & the music is beautiful throughout the show. It's a must-see, no doubt about that. Can't wait to revisit.”

“Oh my, Wow, this theatre is well looked after from the impressive facade to the sweeping staircases this has it all in front of house, it's not let down by the staff either courteous friendly knowledgeable, but then you go into the theatre proper and it delivers, from the monogrammed carpet and beautiful velvet seating (also monogrammed) the whole thing is impressive, such wonderful sconces and architecture, you can even have afternoon tea there, either in a small piano side room or the main area. The stage is large and gives the stage show and visual prowess that is simply breathtaking. If you have tickets to a show here then you are definitely in for a treat.”

“Superb experience. We had the pleasure of seeing the Birmingham Royal Ballet's production of Don Quixote for my nans 80th birthday and we all enjoyed it immensely. From the dancers, set, costume and orchestra, it was all wonderful. The theatre itself was great. Very easy to get to.The only niggle would the be ladies toilets. There was a queue every time and it would be great if they had more toilets to reduce queues. But that's an absolute tiny niggle because the queue moved quickly. All in all, a fabulous experience.”

“What a fantastic historic London venue! To be honest I don’t think the buildings look from the outside (large concrete block) does it any justice. Inside it’s stunning and houses and the huge Festival Hall as well as big dance floor and event space. There is a large bar at ground level, as well as bars on each of the upper floors, including a top floor bar which has a balcony overlooking London and The Thames. I lovely spot for a drink before the concert. There are toilets on each of the floors (useful to know as there is often a long queue for the ground floor toilets at busy times)”

“We went to see the Addam's Family tonight with my son who is autistic. This is the first time he has been to see a stage production, and we were unsure if he would be interested enough to sit and watch it. The staff here went out of their way to help us, allowing our son to sit in on the sound test to gauge his response. He seemed fine, so we bought some tickets to watch from a location from which we could leave at short notice. When the music started our son was absolutely beside himself with joy. Fantastic acting and extremely talented singers. Thank you to all the lovely staff, the performers and production team for giving our son such a wonderful first experience in musical theatre.”
