“Well furnished, comfortable rooms which are very quiet and you don't need to be a plumber to work the shower ! Lots of choice for breakfast which was plentiful, well cooked and presented. We will definitely stay again.”

It's gorgeous and the wrapping is lovely; I've paid more for single roses in the past and the wrapping could have definitely been improved. Such good value for money and extremely friendly service. “We have tried it for the first time and everything is perfect, punctual and delicious food, we tried the menu for two and everything was quite good, what we liked the most was the sweet and sour pork and least of all the rolls, we will repeat for sure, I wish they could do the payment with online card and not with cash.”

“Great local garage. Very happy to talk through repair options, what is needed and why. Work carried out to an excellent standard. I'm reasonably aware of how cars work, yet still have that fear, that through ignorance, I'll end up getting ripped off. They actually told me not to get a couple of advisories fixed, because they really weren't necessary at the moment and it would have blown my budget. That kind of service is a proper gem to find. I fully recommend, even though i might have to wait a bit if it makes them busy!”

“I came in when two ladies were working who were very lovely and accommodating! Helped me with de-knotting and fixing a clasp on a necklace and wouldn’t take payment which I thought was super kind. Also gave the little girl I came in with a biscuit!”

“Always busy in there. Food came out quickly. Was a bit disappointed that they had taken alot of salads off the menu. I know its winter but it's so mild and they are a nice healthy option. Our waiter was absolutely fabulous such a characture and spoke Italian which was nice. I would go back to be served by him!”

“We stayed here for the second time this year as loved it so much. It is a beautiful hotel, gorgeous historic rooms with spacious bathrooms, very comfortable beds. The Angel bar is great fun to go in the evening and enjoy music and cocktails. Guildford as a town has a lot to offer and after a busy day exploring Guildford you can enjoy a restful night sleep in a beautiful period room. The reception staff on arrival were brilliant and the staff in the evening and at checkout were brilliant. Professional and friendly and very welcoming. Looking forward staying here again soon.”

“Stayed here over the weekend and I was really pleased! Staff are really welcoming and friendly, the rooms are spacious and cosy, which was ideal for me, my partner and two young kids. Breakfast was really nice which was a bonus. I would highly recommend this hotel.”

“By far, the best chinese within 10 miles, i've tried most Chinese takeaway / restaurant from New Haw, Byfleet, Woking, Horsell, St Johns and this is by far the best you can get for your money. Good tasty food, pleasant staff. I have been buying from them for the last 20 years! since they were in Woking, i've moved address several times since and so have they but well worth travelling the extra mile!”
