“Nice place for a meet up with food and drink. Stayed here in the village recently and been back. Great entertainment at the weekends. Karaoke yesterday which went down really well. Great team behind the bar, makes your visit more enjoyable for sure.”

“If you like coffee, drink coffee here! The coffee is some of the best I've had, the staff are superb and the food is definitely worth a go (try the Moroccan lamb wrap toasted!). Great place to sit and chat and enjoy some great coffee...oh and they'll even roast some fresh beans for takeaway. Amazing.”

“This is a lovely pub in a lovely location. Staff are super friendly and the food is very good. There's good parking and you can even pull up a boat, if that's your style, along the canal that's right by the beer garden. Highly recommended!”

“We stayed here for just one night. Beds are comfy rooms are clean and tidy. Staff on reception was also lovely. Breakfast food was lovely but there was one member of staff (man) as the girls was so polite made you feel like you was an inconvenience breakfast was served between 8-10am we got there about 9.25am and he made us feel like we had got there at 10am. We had to wait for a table which was not a problem but when we was seated the table was not set up properly we had to keep on asking for things Milk spoons the girl realized there was no side plates and we had to ask for our toast twice. Maybe it was a busy morning”

“Nice place, previously known as The Bear on the Barge. Excellent Refurb, great service and food. Music was at a level were we could have a conversation and even when the live came on it was good. Will definitely go back.”

“We hadn't booked anything for mothers day and were beyond surprised that the team could squeeze us in for lunch. I can not tell you how amazing the food and service was especially as we hadn't booked. What was lovely that although we were told the table will need to be back within an hour and half we weren't made to feel rushed. If anything they service was like can I get you another white wine mum.Will definitely be bringing all the family back here. Impeccable service especially with two little ones. “I enjoy going to this pub because of the amazing staff and the welcome I get every time. They are a very good credit to the company Which is very hard nowadays. Corey and Beth are both good leaders and work very hard amf are good role models to their colleagues. Especially the younger staff. There is always someone in the making, you just need to find it. Pleasant welcome, clean place and good food and drink. Recipe for good results. Can't wait for my next visit tomorrow.”
