“We went to Sidra today with my 11 months old baby, even though it was busy lunch time service and tables were reserved for group of guests, the owner was so kind to offer us a table. The food is always so flavoursome, it definitely makes me feel so welcome! Highly recommend to everyone who lives in or visit Teddington to come to this lovely restaurant, you won’t be disappointed! :)”

“Chose this restaurant as I'd seen positive reviews on a local facebook group about their hygiene and safety during lockdown as well as some enthusiastic reviews of the food. 100% recommend. The food was fantastic, full of flavour and arrived hot and fresh. (Not overheated to appear hot at delivery like some places) The vegetable dishes had as much care taken over them as the meat dishes and the portions were generous. Very reasonably priced! The deliveroo estimate of the delivery time was accurate and whilst longer then most was definitely worth the wait and both the staff and delivery driver were very friendly despite being clearly busy. Definitely order again thanks guys!”

Their online service is exceptional and equally as smooth, with shipments handled efficiently. I first class service all round.”

We'll definitely be back as the cakes and bread looked excellent too (in fact, we also bought a couple of the olive breadsticks - highly recommend).”

“There was a great atmospheric production. Loved the ark work around the aesthetic brick panelling. The service was exceptional and I loved the uniform the incredible staff were wearing. The staff are really good at suggesting combinations that will work well together. “While I think the initial reaction was 'another coffee shop? at least it's not an estate agent' for most people in Teddington, Local Hero being a new addition to the high street is a dream. They've played into the fact that they're a coffee shop, and not a brunch/dinner/lunch place, and the focus on great coffee pays off with consistently great coffee. (although the pastries and small bites really are great too!) Family run with two other places in SW London, there's a range of different coffees, with all your usual oat/soy/alternative milk, with LH's house roast that makes for a great espresso - one of the only places in the area you can have a magic too (think flat white, but punchier!) Add on friendly and welcoming staff, and Local Hero is a winner for anything from a morning wake up call through to meeting a friend for a chat over a great tasting coffee. They're also dog friendly, which is a huge plus!”

“Wonderful dim sum, high quality and perfectly fresh, cooked and executed. A bit pricey - probably 1.7x of London Chinatown prices, but obviously convenient for those that live close to the area. Do yourself a favour and order the salted egg custard buns”
