Still incredibly impressed when I went back yesterday and had the death by meat aka the Mixed Grill - big portion, plus meats were cooked perfectly. Excellent pub with great food, worth a visit, but better to book ahead if you want to eat in the evening.”

“Went there for Parkinson Users - Group Xmas Meal. I think it's part of the Pub. It doesn't look that big. But did manage to seat about 40 of us, quite spaciously. Bar nearby. Clean toilets. “This Café is located in the Spotlight Youth community Centre. It is a very nice and simple place to have breakfast, brunch or lunch on weekdays. They have a nice selection of cakes, good coffee, sandwiches, salads, soups and daily specials. There are many vegan items on the menu including a vegan special everyday, an excellent banana and chocolate cake and non dairy milk option. The prices are very reasonable with the veg daily special at £4 and meat special at £5. EDIT : unfortunately the daily specials menu and cakes have changed and it's not as vegan friendly as before.”
