They take great care in ensuring children are happy and comfortable in the water before teaching them excellent technique in each of the four main strokes. The classes are a good size, allowing for individualised instructions where required and as they progress the children gain stamina, speed and confidence. They also provide feedback and updates on children's progress, moving them up levels when they need to or identifying areas in which they could improve. A great swim school that we'd highly recommend.”

“My daughter is just about to finish a 5-day crash course with Adam. She is a good swimmer generally - so for her it was more about refreshing technique. The classes are fun with lots of encouragement and praise from the teacher. It was a pleasure to see participants grew in confidence and improve day by day. “I’d been contemplating swimming lessons for years and felt so nervous going into it but I’m so glad I took the plunge (pun intended). Lisa made me feel instantly at ease with her friendly manner and in less than 10 weeks I was already able to swim multiple lengths, something I never thought I’d be able to do. In my opinion I think this is an ideal place to learn to swim as an adult, being in hotels the swimming pools are already a really nice environment to be in and I would go in the evenings or weekends and the pools were always really quiet. The learn to swim programme is great too, the approach is simple all the steps are really methodical, not at all overwhelming and Lisa always took the time to explain why I had to do certain things i.e. to make the swim more efficient, not breathe in water etc. And honestly, it was so much fun! Couldn’t recommend Lisa and Turner Swim more.”

“Blue Wave Swim has been brilliant with my three children. The teachers are kind and make swimming fun, but also experienced and coaxed my reluctant 3 year old into the water no problem- after the first lesson he now loves going swimming! All of my children are at different stages but they are all growing into really strong, confident swimmers. The facilities at Wimbledon College are convenient and you can watch them easily.”

“Love this heated outdoor pool. They use a different water treatment to chlorine so it’s kinder in your eyes. Very old fashioned, no lockers, but wire baskets for your clothes, like it! Have swimming stuff for sale and a gym, tennis courts, free parking and good value!”

“Very happy with our hot tub installed by Lee who was very professional and informative. Really appreciated the extra time and effort he puts into making sure the customer is satisfied and understands everything correctly, which I have to say is a rare find these days to have someone show so much initiative and care for their job. “A wonderful outdoor Olympic (50m) size lido in south-east London. Extremely clean and heated year round making winter swimming possible, even without a wetsuit. Inside and outdoor changing facilities. Friendly staff and a nice mix of local leisure bathers and a friendly swimming community make for a very nice relaxed atmosphere. Some swimming and triathlon clubs train here too. There's a full Better gym on-site (which can be used for an extra fee) and something quite unique, an outdoor spin studio overlooking the pools. Some of the spin instructors are very entertaining as they motivate their classes :). You will definitely leave feeling refreshed and happier than when you arrived.”

“Really peaceful place to take children as when I went on a Saturday there were only about 5 others in the pool! The changing rooms were spacious and the pool was nice and warm. They even had some toys for my grand daugter to play with”

“I 100% recommended London Baby Swim at Wandsworth, I started classes with my daughter at 8 weeks, Judit is an amazing instructor who makes it a safe, enjoyable and comfortable space for babies as well as adults! Now my daughter is 8 months and loves being in the water, she is confident with going underwater and throughly enjoys the class. The centre itself is very well set out, large changing rooms and a big cafe style area, it is immaculately clean thanks to the hard working and friendly staff.”

No time wasting. My kids age 7 and 6 enjoying their first private 1 on 1 sessions, became water confident, always learning & developing new skills and techniques. “I am having swimming lessons with Mark Trude and currently on my third lesson with him. I have trouble in learning how to swim for many years and despite of reaching to a couple of swimming instructor, I still could not even float. Mark, who is truly the best swimming instructor I have met, is super patient and engaging at the same time. And I am surprised that I am able not only to float, but can swim for a whole 20m length by myself in just 3 one-hour lessons. Would definitely recommend to anyone who‘s not confident in water and would like to learn how to swim!”

Subscription prices yes they are a bit expensive but worth it! Friendly staff there to assist and do book an appointment to check out their venue and see what they got to offer!”
