“Saw Justine for a couple of months last summer with very bad sciatica due to a nerve being pressed by a lower bulging disc. Never experienced back problems before and the pain was awful. I was left with foot drop too and with a wedding looming I wanted to wear something other than trainers! I went for 8 sessions and within those 2 months everything healed and improved greatly. I never really believed in needling before seeing Justine but I most certainly do now. Along with the exercises, which I still do when my back twinges, I thoroughly recommend this place and Justine.”

“First class dentistry. From start to finish the whole experience was fantastic. My front teeth where broken in a childhood accident, as a result of this I had a cap and out of line teeth I had never felt confident with smiling. John was amazing, he talked me through the treatment plan in a free consultation and I couldn’t believe that my teeth could be changed. I had, them aligned, bonded and whitened. I am now smiling all the time, I am more than happy to have my photo taken ( which had never been the case before) It’s amazing what a difference this has made to how I feel about myself. “Terrified of needing an extraction I went along to Birkbeck as they provide conscious sedation. This too made me anxious, as I did not want to be conscious at all. From my first visit I was reassured by the calm atmosphere and lovely staff. Peter decided the tooth didn't need to come out and recommended root canal. This was performed with the aid of the sedation and was undoubtedly the best dental experience I've ever had. I knew nothing until I awoke around an hour and a half later, treatment completed. My new crown was made and fitted two weeks later . This treatment is expensive but worth every penny. I'm very attached to my teeth (!)and hope to keep them forever. With Birkbecks help that looks to be a real possibility. One very happy and satisfied customer”

“Last year I was prescribed contraceptive tablets by my doctor and I decided to visit this pharmacy to fill the prescription. Unfortunately when I visited the pharmacy the medication was out of stock, and wouldn’t have been available for up to a week. Given the nature of this medication I couldn’t wait that long and so the pharmacist very kindly reassured me and offered me an alternative - she explained to me that it was the same medication but a different brand, and would have the same effect on my body. A few days after taking the tablet I called the pharmacy back and let the Pharmacist know that I was having difficulty swallowing the pill she had given me due to the metallic taste it left in my mouth. Where most places might have told me it was too late to swap, this pharmacist offered to reorder the original pill the doctor had prescribed me. Although there was issues with the supplier she tried several times and then swapped the pills for me free of cost. I can’t tell you how much I appreciated this lovely gesture - pharmacists cannot recoup this cost and the pharmacy had to pay to offer me this swap. I even offered to reimburse her and she refused as she said the most important thing was to provide a service to the local community. The pharmacist was professional, knowledgable and very kind. I couldn’t recommend more highly. Businesses like this are the heart of the community and although I have now moved away from the area I will continue to visit this pharmacy as and when the need arises.”

“I had my surgery at Queen Mary's yesterday. I found all the staff very helpful and pleasant and all staff involved in my operation explained everything clearly to me at all times. I felt reassured and looked after. I was told what to do and look out for when I got home and gave me pain relief and leaflets to read. They rung me today at home to see if I was ok. Couldn't fault the care thanks so much”

“I visited the Urgent Care at Queen Mary’s Hospital this evening, and I would like to say that I have not been treated with such respect and care in a long time. The staff all introduced themselves by their first names, Margaret the nurse was amazing and made me feel welcome. The doctor Helen was brilliant, she allowed my husband to come in with me as I was quite anxious. She checked me over, and really quickly put me at ease explaining everything in great detail and even showing me examples online. I would highly recommend Queen Mary’s Urgent Care Unit for quick and expert care. Thank you to everyone who helped me through my visit, including the gentleman who was on reception, whose name I didn’t get (sorry). He was funny and made me laugh and put me at ease straight away.
