WhiP
“After a few failed haircuts at other salons, I’m so glad to have found Whip. Thank you Jimmy for the wonderful cut and for bringing life back into my hair! Highly recommend”
Urban Native Organic & Wholefoods
“Really well stocked health food shop with a great range of organic veg, including less seen varieties of tomato etc. Very friendly too.”
Brook Green Wholefoods
“Huge selection, very chill, great soundtrack. I've stopped going to supermarkets cos they don't even reliably have basic vegetables, this place does it all- washing up liquid, coffee, milk and cheese, all of it. Guy behind the counter even gave me a dried fig for free. Love it!”
GreenBay
“There should be more of these shops around London! It’s a small one but you can find everything you need if you’re vegan/vegetarian. People can find it a bit expensive but it’s understandable, they are a small business and everything has a cost. I also experienced an excellent customer service when I asked if they could keep me the stuff I bought and come back later. Well stocked and tidy.”
Tonys Continental
“Fantastic fruit and vegetables. Great selection of Greek and Cypriot foods, cheeses and olives. Beautiful artisinal bread several times a week, be quick as it sells out fast. Oh, and great owners and staff. A little East Finchley gem!”
She’s Lost Control
“A wonderful experience visiting SLC. Staff really care about their customers and have thought a lot about how the shop can be both welcoming and accessible. I could also see that a lot of thought had gone into the range of products they provided, which were beautiful and vast. Jeni was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and supportive when I visited - I indeed had lost control and wanted some advice on how I could get it back! I left feeling so much better than when I went in. I had a plan plus an amazing range of products that I couldn’t wait to try. I’ll definitely be back again as I feel I could buy the whole shop! Thanks SLC xx”
GreenWise
“Great little spot at the heart of the village and community with a great ethos, vibe and interior space Can shop for fresh produce and groceries, alongside a spot of lunch and favours quality produce which I enjoy All in all worth taking a trip for cake, coffee and weekly shop items Free parking outside a bonus”
The Green Supermarket
“You can find almost anything there, fresh vegs and always clean and organised. Go for the butcher area, lamb is amazing”
Figs and Grain
“Wide variety of food, fruit and vegetables with good quality.”
Lussmanns Sustainable Kitchen
“Lovely restaurant spread over different levels in a building next to the cathedral in St Albans approached through a small walkway. Parking in town can be difficult and pre booking your table is a good idea as the restaurant can be busy. The ambience is lovely. They have a good choice of vegetarian, vegan dishes, seafood, meats including steak and a great variety of desserts. We had fishcake, amazing baked aubergine and a mushroom stew, all excellent. The apple crumble and date and ginger pudding was delicious. The poached pear was average. Service was very friendly. There can be a wait between courses.”
Grow
“I love this Riverside gem in Hackney Wick! The project is great, they grow their own stuff and the location is top. Friendly vibe, great music and lovely food!”
Nutrisun.co.uk t/a The Good Life
“Lovely small shop. Great for rice and lentils and other health foods and body products.”
The Bow Bells
“Top tip for those in London. Whether you’re just walking by, visiting a different part of London or just moved to Bow- you cannot do better for a pub trip than the bow bells. A great classic British pub environment, friendly staff, reasonably priced beers, a sitting room environment and feel, entertainment from sports to drag queen pub quizzes and karaoke (in the evenings), a welcoming local crowd, great food- this place is really something special. It’s a diverse and welcoming environment, even on West Ham home game days! So if you’re wondering whether to come in or not for a pint or a pizza- I’d struggle to find where you can do better. Big love to the Bow Bells.”
The De Beauvoir Wholefoods
“Most spectacular store in the area, has a variety of options all in one place. Cheap prices and great customer service is one of the reasons I keep coming back. Great work keep it up!”
Faanoos Restaurant
“I have been to Faanoos a couple of times and always leave satisfied. The warm air that hits you as you walk in the door past the tandoor style oven puts a great big smile on my face. Being extra hungry today, I had the mixed grill kebab sandwich with chips and hummus. Meat was cooked really well, hummus was lovely and rounded off with the tandoor style bread which sits as the large edible bowl to work with. Great for a lunch time quick meal or a lounging dinner.”
Whole Foods Market
“One of the best places for whole and organic food. Hot buffet, cold salad and customized wraps if you want to have food all day. They have the best of products from all countries esp Olive oils. Amazing collection. I go here atleast once a month if not more.”
Helios Homeopathy Ltd
“All i can say that its unique apothecary for me. It`s very customer oriented, even when things go bad on my part. No problems with the order, fast delivery to Poland and a lot of help. Thank You once more.”
Royal Free Recreation Club - Hampstead
“Great experience having my 2nd jab here. Staff so friendly and it’s amazing for such a repetitive mundane job. I am not pro or against vaccinations or a fan of NHS or not. Credit when credit is due. I feel really grateful to all the staff here with their warm and sunny smiles. I thought I should drop a review as I am waiting at the sitting area waiting to be released. The place is clean and the whole operation is very smooth. The only problem is that there are limited spaces on the streets for parking.”
Holland & Barrett
“Very helpful staff. All the stuff you would expect to find in a standard-sized Holland & Barratt store but with the most helpful, knowledgeable staff. Don't often go to H&B but I will do so a lot more often now.”
Planet Organic - Spitalfields
“Similar to but also quite different to Planet Organic and Wholefoods, and also with an entirely different set of locations. Product range includes ingredients, fresh fruit & veg, raw & fermented foods, free from foods, chilled & frozen and also supplements In contrast to Planet Organic & Wholefoods - # Multiple zero waste, no packaging self serve stations for refilling laundry liquid, soap and a range of dry foods like nuts, seeds and cereals # Far less food 'ready-to-eat' # Smaller stores # Wider aisles (easier to browse) Similar to Planet Organic & Wholefoods - # Lots of free from foods, especially gluten and dairy free # Lots of organic foods # Continuous programme of in-store sampling, education and advice events”
Superdrug
“Excellent catered service from staff when looking for the right products for you.”
wagamama sevenoaks
“Lovely staff, and delicious ramen! Highly recommend the pork belly ramen. The dessert (chocolate brownie option) was a bit small for the price, but tasted great! I will definitely be coming back.”
Clockwork Pharmacy & Travel Vaccination Clinic
“I went to Clockwork Pharmacy for travel Vaccinations. I called a few hours before hand and got a booking that same day. They are open until 7pm, so that made it possible to go there after work. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I was seen to quickly.”
Rockys Southall
“Chicken burger fully loaded amazing. Vegetarian pizza with jalapenos and put paneer on mmm. If you meat eater get the meat feast pizza with green chillies. The half pound beef burger with cheese and chilli sauce is absolutely delicious and fills you up... enjoy everyone”
