“There should be more of these shops around London! It’s a small one but you can find everything you need if you’re vegan/vegetarian. People can find it a bit expensive but it’s understandable, they are a small business and everything has a cost. I also experienced an excellent customer service when I asked if they could keep me the stuff I bought and come back later. Well stocked and tidy.”

“Fantastic fruit and vegetables. Great selection of Greek and Cypriot foods, cheeses and olives. Beautiful artisinal bread several times a week, be quick as it sells out fast. Oh, and great owners and staff. A little East Finchley gem!”

“A wonderful experience visiting SLC. Staff really care about their customers and have thought a lot about how the shop can be both welcoming and accessible. I could also see that a lot of thought had gone into the range of products they provided, which were beautiful and vast. Jeni was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and supportive when I visited - I indeed had lost control and wanted some advice on how I could get it back! I left feeling so much better than when I went in. I had a plan plus an amazing range of products that I couldn’t wait to try. I’ll definitely be back again as I feel I could buy the whole shop! “Lovely restaurant spread over different levels in a building next to the cathedral in St Albans approached through a small walkway. Parking in town can be difficult and pre booking your table is a good idea as the restaurant can be busy. The ambience is lovely. They have a good choice of vegetarian, vegan dishes, seafood, meats including steak and a great variety of desserts. We had fishcake, amazing baked aubergine and a mushroom stew, all excellent. The apple crumble and date and ginger pudding was delicious. The poached pear was average. Service was very friendly. There can be a wait between courses.”

“Top tip for those in London. Whether you’re just walking by, visiting a different part of London or just moved to Bow- you cannot do better for a pub trip than the bow bells. A great classic British pub environment, friendly staff, reasonably priced beers, a sitting room environment and feel, entertainment from sports to drag queen pub quizzes and karaoke (in the evenings), a welcoming local crowd, great food- this place is really something special. It’s a diverse and welcoming environment, even on West Ham home game days! So if you’re wondering whether to come in or not for a pint or a pizza- I’d struggle to find where you can do better. Big love to the Bow Bells.”

“I have been to Faanoos a couple of times and always leave satisfied. The warm air that hits you as you walk in the door past the tandoor style oven puts a great big smile on my face. Being extra hungry today, I had the mixed grill kebab sandwich with chips and hummus. Meat was cooked really well, hummus was lovely and rounded off with the tandoor style bread which sits as the large edible bowl to work with. Great for a lunch time quick meal or a lounging dinner.”

“One of the best places for whole and organic food. Hot buffet, cold salad and customized wraps if you want to have food all day. They have the best of products from all countries esp Olive oils. Amazing collection. I go here atleast once a month if not more.”

“Great experience having my 2nd jab here. Staff so friendly and it’s amazing for such a repetitive mundane job. I am not pro or against vaccinations or a fan of NHS or not. Credit when credit is due. I feel really grateful to all the staff here with their warm and sunny smiles. I thought I should drop a review as I am waiting at the sitting area waiting to be released. The place is clean and the whole operation is very smooth. The only problem is that there are limited spaces on the streets for parking.”

“I went to Clockwork Pharmacy for travel Vaccinations. I called a few hours before hand and got a booking that same day. They are open until 7pm, so that made it possible to go there after work. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I was seen to quickly.”

“Chicken burger fully loaded amazing. Vegetarian pizza with jalapenos and put paneer on mmm. If you meat eater get the meat feast pizza with green chillies. The half pound beef burger with cheese and chilli sauce is absolutely delicious and fills you up... enjoy everyone”

“Mid size shop with great coffee counter, espresso and filter coffees from Electric Coffee. Also coffee beans available on retail. Huge selection of artisan beers from UK. Nice selection of fruits and veg some of it organic. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options for food to go or to cook. Excellent!”
