“I visited here on Christmas Eve 2022 with my brothers and mother. We were served by a waiter called Ted who was beyond friendly, considerate and catered to us massively. Considering how busy it was being Christmas Eve, Ted made our experience a breeze and was the most accommodating waiter we could have asked for. Would 100% revisit and if you have Ted as a server/waiter you will be the luckiest!”

“After a Christmas Shopping trip to Bromley, we decided to take the kids to Harvester for lunch. Our server was Lorna, and she was fantastic. Friendly and accommodating; always checking if we were okay and enjoy the food. The food was excellent with portion sizes perfect (huge). As a vegan, I was a bit apprehensive at first about what would be available. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection available and, blown away by the taste! We were also impressed with the kids menu and the variety available to them. Over all an outstanding experience! Thank you, crooked Billet Harvester and, thank you Lorna our wonderful server.”

If you live anywhere near Bromley go and try it with an open mind because if we lose it we’ll only have ourselves to blame. Every course of the small plates we had was exceptional The yellow fin tuna in the picture was exquisite but the rest was equally good and so beautifully presented (was too busy eating to take pics) The wine and drinks list is also brilliant with some really interesting wines beers & sake The service was brilliant as well from the lovely girl front of house to Josue our waiter who was attentive, knowledgeable and lovely. “Fantastic! Decided to go out for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon, and wanted to stay local. I ordered a lunchtime cheeseburger special, and my partner ordered a steak. Both delicious and cooked to perfection. Jack himself served us and is an extremely welcoming and personable guy. Cannot fault anything!”

“Visited a friend who had moved to Bromley recently. We fancied some good food but reasonably priced, so we looked for a wetherspoon pub. We found the Richmal Crompton. What a discovery! I ordered spicy grilled chicken with salad. I was served within 10 minutes and the chicken was perfectly cooked: the breast was juicy and the leg was tender. The salad, dressing and sauces complemented the chicken. The refillable mug of coffee was the icing on the cake. All that for £8. My friend and I agreed to revisit the pub very soon for more tasty experiences.”
