“The afternoon tea here was absolutely phenomenal. My two children (8 and 5) were so thrilled with the cute and delicious food, and the wonderful atmosphere. The best highlight was our server, Hafize. She was so thoughtful and kind, but also took her time to develop a personal connection with us. My girls adored her too, she was so sweet with them. We left with our bellies and hearts full!”

“Excellent place in Mayfair, the ambiance is warm and elegant. We had dinner last night and everything we tasted was delicious. The highlights were the seafood soup and the tuna tartare, both recommended if you visit the place. We need to come back to taste the meats too. The Ferrari sparkling wine was great and accompanied our food beautifully. We tried the tiramisu too, perfect balance between sweetness, alcohol, coffee and creaminess. We are going back for sure.”

She was extremely friendly and helpful. With it being two of our birthdays, she got us a complimentary drink and dessert each. Would highly recommend. The food was fantastic.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our Botanical Afternoon Tea with bottomless bubbles here last week. Lanes has a perfect location being just a couple of minutes walk from Marble Arch tube station and across the road from Hyde Park (lovely for walking off their generous afternoon tea!) Service from all of the staff was exceptional. Tea menu is extensive, even for the pickiest of tea connoisseurs. Sandwiches were fresh and inventive, we especially loved the use of the specialty breads which made them a little more special than your average afternoon tea offering. Scones were some of the best we’ve ever tasted and the cakes were delicate morsels from heaven. All in all, a wonderful experience where you’re made to feel very special by the fantastic staff. Thank you to all of the team- we will definitely be back xxx”

“We eat in and take away from this excellent Indian restaurant. The standard of cooking is consistently high and the curry’s have a good depth of flavour and taste. They will adapt a curry to suit you and offer plenty of choice. The staff are warm and friendly and the beer always nicely chilled!”

“Everything was so tasty the cocktails here are really well done and we did not have a single dish that was not excellent. The lamb shank and the lobster-tail Pad Thai were some of the best dishes I’ve ever had. Staff were also super kind and even let us move to a nicer table that opened up. “Since the Wimbledon branch closed we were missing Made in Italy. The food was amazing and the service was exceptional. Sharing board had so many different tastes as well as pizza’s sourdough taste was distinct! I can say their pizza is one of the pest. Montepulciano wine we had was leaving a funny after taste. When told, our glasses were exchanged with wine from a new bottle immediately. I knocked the new wine glass but even that was replaced! Friendly staff and excellent Itallian food - Made in Italy continues to be our favorite!! Thank you:)”

“The London Apprentice is an iconic pub across the Thames from Kew in the village of Isleworth. If you enjoy a warm afternoon at a Riverside pub, you have to find your way to this pub. It's outside area is substantial and its food tasty. We were glad to find our way back there today. It was a fine way to spend an afternoon.”
