Thai Rack
“My wife and I have been exploring the area and this was our first restaurant experience at St Alban's. Firstly, the food is halal and were cooked fresh. Secondly, the rear garden was cute and a romantic spot to spend with your partner.”
Thai Taste
“I was so surprised! From the outside it looks small, cramped and not special. However once inside it is so lovely, clean and classic. Everything is pristine and the staff are friendly. We over ordered because we planned on taking a doggy bag home, instead the food was so delicious we over ate and couldn't even make room for dessert. I am just so impressed, can't believe I waited this long to try it.”
Reun Thai
“Good Thai food ordered from here. Waiting to be able to sit down and try more off the menu. So far, not the best pad Thai in the area taste-wise, but still a good dish, very light compared to the competitors in the area, didn't feel stuffed after eating it, very tasty prawn crackers, I loved them, same with spring rolls. We'll definitely be back! UPDATE: went there for dinner. It is now my absolute n.1! So much better than the delivery, taste is great, portions and prices absolutely fair. Went back twice already!”
Thai Taste Lounge
“Fantastic Thai food with lovely, friendly service at a very reasonable price. The restaurant is large and would be good for bigger groups. Service is fast, friendly and fun. The food is really good. Everything tasted great, not very heavy or overly salty. Highly recommend”
Supawan Thai Food
“Really authentic thai food, set in the beautiful surroundings of a day time florist, so plants and flora everywhere. The service and attention is very good, but the food really is top drawer. So tasty and very well presented, beautifully balanced dishes. We had Meiang Phuket (grilled prawns on cha-pruu leaves) which were superb, Thai Squid which was very nice, Som Tam papaya salad which was about as accurate as any ive ever had in Bangkok, and easily the best ive had in London, Gai Yang Gorlea (marinated chicken with coconut and curry) very nicer, and Beef Cheek Massaman curry - also excellent. It can get busy, so even if you book, you may have to wait a little, and it's a little pricey too (all the above (1 main & 4 small plates), 1 rice, prawn crackers and 5 small beers- £105), but it was worth both the price, and having to wait outside for 15 mins. Thoroughly recommended, I'll be going back.. when I can afford it!”
Nan True Thai
“This was part of a food court like establishment where you have common seating between multiple food stalls. The food here is wonderful with big enough portion sizes and very well priced. The ladies behind the counter were very nice and sweet too. I have tried ordering from here too and that is also always perfect. My go to place for thai food in the area.”
Rosa's Thai Chelsea
“Such a great experience I had during my last visit! I’ve ordered takeout from here many times and I’ve always had nothing but praise. We decided to dine in this time and they didn’t disappoint at all the food was so flavourful and I’d definitely recommend!! I can’t wait to come back again.”
Rosa's Thai Clapham
“I am Thai and love Thai food so I always hunt for a good Thai meal. I've been to other Rosa's Thai but this was our first time here and honestly one of the best Thai food I've had for a long time in London. I asked for very spicy papaya salad and Thai minced salad and didn't expect they would cater to my needs. Every dishes brought me back home. The atmosphere was good and spacious. Staff was very friendly. Will come back again and again. Thank you especially Ton! Kob Khun Ka :)”
Granary Thai Cafe
“I went for set lunch as recommended by a Thai friend. The food is real Thai taste with fresh ingredients, and generous portion, the price is cheap, the quality of the food is better than expensive restaurants. The place is clean with lovely decorating and the staff is friendly and professional. I ended up order more food to take away back home. I highly recommend this restaurant, if, one is looking for fresh and authentic Thai food.”
Thai Cafe’ Stokey
“My sister and I went to see a play at Tower Theatre on Northwold Road, Stoke Newington, London N16. When we left we were looking for somewhere to go eat. I jokingly said how about the Thai cafe over the road. She said ok. It’s actually a cafe restaurant. We looked at the menu in the window and decided to go in. Price is reasonable. It’s cosy and intimate, clean and fresh. We ordered and didn’t have to wait long for our food which was presented well and piping hot. Oh my goodness. The food is amazing. Bursting with flavour & colour, cooked to perfection (no soggy veg.) I’ve had Thai before but this tops them all Staff were clean and polite. I definitely, definitely recommend a visit if your in the area. They also do take out and delivery. Oh yeah. I plan to visit again”
Rosa's Thai Waterloo
“We passed through for some dinner before attending an event in Leake Street. The food was absolutely divine. We had the breadcrumb prawns, which were massive and super delicious. I had the pork dish, which was cooked with crunchy, green beans and chillies, and served with rice and a fried egg on top. A really good portion - I have a big appetite, and struggled to finish it. My daughter had tofu, served with green beans, chillis and noodles, also with an egg on top. Will definitely eat here again”
Lan Naa Thai
“Our second visit and won't be our last. Lovely family-run restaurant with friendly staff and excellent service. The food was great with lots of options on the menu - difficult to pick! Will be back to try more!”

“My experience has always been with takeaway and the food is really excellent. High quality and detailed flavour.”
Thai Tho Wimbledon
“Easily. By far THE BEST Thai takeaway I have ordered in London. Excellent packaging. The spring rolls were so lovely and crispy on arrival as the restaurant had purposely cut the corner of the take away container to avoid them steaming up en route. Delicious piping hot Tom Yum, Egg Fried Rice. And generous. I look forward to popping in next time. Good work Guys. Thank you”

Baan Thai
“HOME DELIVERY CONSISTENCY They have free delivery for over £15. They've started a loyalty stamp system - like cafe Nero and others. If you collect enough stamps you get £25 !!!! Off next order. This is not an incentive for me because their food is so damned good anyway. I have started asking staff for reccomendations. You know - like asking a wine expert on what's best to go with what. They don't just say the special or the most expensive item. You chat with them (they're very friendly people) and you say the sorts of things you like or have had before and they will come up with some suggestions. Today's hot fresh home delivery included; Tom Ka soup. If you like tom yum but find it maybe just a touch too spicy - try Tom Ka. It's sort of milder and got coconut milk. Marvelous. Bangkok chicken. In a sort of batter. But, not the Chinese takeaway or fish n chip shop batter. It's sort of thinner and just seals in the juices and taste of the chicken. In a sauce with veggies and Zing, tang, flavour. But,at the same time not overpowering and leaving you feel well fed but not stuffed. These are the consistent results I always get from Baan Thai cuisine. And, if you think about it...... consistently reaching or exceeding your expectations is why you go back again and again. 2 years ago in summer I wrote - Thai salads Perfect for hot summer weather when you just want a light, well priced salad with that wonderful Thai zing. Maybe with a lemon tea. Perhaps share a kampung nasi goreng. I have had nasi goreng many times in Bali and Baan Thai's is equal in flavour. Slightly different in layout (Baan Thai doesn't serve Ayam pieces on the side) but then, Balinese Indonesian is different from Java Indonesian etc. .......prior reviews This is Thai and Malay food. So, all the idiots ordering or asking for HK, Guandong, or Szechuan dishes need to re-read the sign. I started with Tom Ka (Tom Yum with coconut milk). Very flavoursome. Kafir lime as well as lemongrass, very tasty white chicken meat, quartered button mushrooms cooked just long enough to absorb the flavours. Fish sauce (of course). Some people don't like the smell of fish sauce. I agree it can take a little getting used to. But, I promise you - this Tom ka with the fresh basil on top was well worth it. I followed with a green papaya salad:- mmmm that sweet, sour, hot, crunchy combination is just wonderful. Perfect for a warm day. Shredded carrot, Julienne papaya, bean sprouts, halved cherry tomatoes, fresh, crunchy roasted peanuts, green beans, some red chilli lettuce..... And the sauce!! Hot, tangy, juices, palm sugar all twirled together and demanding to be eaten. I paid just over £11 for those two items total. Not too busy at 2pm.... Couriers coming and going and a few seated customers. A really yummy lunch. Subsequent visit(s) I tried the nasi goreng. Strictly speaking this is an Indonesian dish. But, the Malaysian and Indonesian people originate from the same stock so it,a not surprising that some dishes (particularly rice dishes) are identical. Though, for me, the influence in Malaysia of Indian, Chinese and Thai cuisine has produced far more delicious variety. The Thai iced tea (without milk) is very fragrant and not too sweet. I am going to have to return many times, because everything I have tried so far is wonderful and delicious. Charming, courteous, pleasant staff (as one always finds with both Thai and Malay people). Six stars.”
Thai Restaurant YumYum
“Had a lovely meal at Yum Yum last weekend. Booking online was very easy. There is a bar area before you go through to the restaurant, the member of staff took our drinks order as we waited for friends to arrive. We finally got to our table 45 minutes after the initial time of booking but they were very relaxed about it. We began with the yum yum platter which consisted of spring rolls, chicken wings, satay chicken and fish cakes. I ordered the lamb mussaman curry as my main which came on the bone which was fine. They also do beef and chicken mussaman curries. The menu is a bit overwhelming with so many choices of starters, soups and mains. They also do various desserts and I tried the coconut ice cream which came with my friends order which was surprisingly good. Overall had a fabulous meal with friends and a brilliant evening. Expect to pay around £20-25 for 2 courses, drinks are extra. I can happily recommend YumYum in Stokey and would definitely go back there.”
Chai's Garden Thai Restaurant
“I’ve been a regular customer at this venue for a number of years and it has been consistently first rate in all respects. Thanks to the lovely staff also.”
The King & I Thai Restaurant
“Love this place. Its very traditional Thai food. Great service too. They started lunch time opening, I've went twice now. It's now my favourite local Thai restaurant. Will be going again soon:)”
Patpong Thai Restaurant
“We went on a Thursday evening restaurant was fairly busy with a nice atmosphere very buzzy local restaurant with chilled background music and nice low lighting with candles on the tables…. The mixed starter we had was exceptionally good and the wait between starter to mains was 20/25 minutes actually nice to have a chat in between and you could tell everything was cooked fresh instead of when it comes out in 5mins from the microwave in some other places we have been too. We had the salt&pepper squid the best I’ve tasted and the mossaman beef really delicious and tender the coconut rice was a large portion and the tempura cod with mild chilli and onion omg. We had so much food that we took home a doggy bag which we enjoyed again the next day. Overall a lovely local restaurant good traditional Thai food and good value we love this place.”
The Robin Hood Thai Restaurant
“Nice pub Thai food near Epping forest. Really liked the Tom yum soup and red curry.”
Sir & Madam Thai Woking
“First time we ordered and couldn’t have been more happier. Delicious fresh food! Will definitely be ordering again.”
Poppy's Thai Eatery
“An amazing little place. The weeping tiger steak was incredible. Feels like home cooked food! Recommended by friends from Thailand for it's authenticity. All the plates are different to each other, the decor is very different to I expected and the foods amazing. Is cash only so bare that in mind.”
Rosa's Thai Angel
“Each dish was a delight and cooked to perfection at this relaxed, causal style Thai eatery The food was well prepared and accompanied by a zingy, home made refreshing lemonade Finding little touches like this and the home made sweet chilli sauce are the little details which make the big impact Said sauce was slightly sweet but well balanced with sour, bitter and salty flavours too unlike the standard bottled gloop which tends to be overly sugary The corn cakes were crispy and not saturated with oil Bringing both the chunky and smooth textures together Penang Curry was superb and delightfully spiced Pumpkin crackers are in need of a mention here as previously an undiscovered dish If you like Thai food and value quality and flavour Give this place a try!”
Thai Palace Restaurant - Authentic Thai Cuisine
“Fantastic meal out with friends. Haven't been here for a couple of years but I'm glad we went again . The restaurant isn't massive and tables are quite close together but the food is worth it . Chicken satay as a starter was the best I've had and the chicken pad Thai was perfect . Very good value too .”
