“My son started at The Garden Pre-School a few weeks ago and has settled in beautifully. He has just turned two and, having been out of childcare for a long time, I was concerned as to how it would be to leave him. Well I needn’t have worried as all the staff at The Garden Pre-School have been incredibly kind, supportive and caring in making sure that my son feels happy and secure. In the first week teachers even took the time to update me regularly throughout each day, via phone calls, online messaging and photos as to how he had settled and the numerous fun activities he was taking part in. As an Early Years Teacher myself I am always very interested in other settings and having taken much time looking into different childcare options my husband and I were certain that the Garden Pre-School was the right place for our little boy. The outdoor area is always well maintained with fantastic equipment to allow children to explore safely and, as well as both the indoor and outdoor classrooms, there is an on-site Forest School, something which I personally believe is highly beneficial to children’s physical development as well as promoting independent exploration and imagination. I have already seen so much progress with regards to my sons speech, play and social behaviours. He runs out everyday with a huge smile on his face whilst shouting ‘bye bye friends’ and on the journey home when asked if he had a good day he replies ‘Yes, fun!’ As a parent, this is an amazing and reassuring thing to hear and I thank the staff at The Garden Pre-School for their hard work and dedication to the children they care for.”

We needed to hire a rolls royce at very short notice (24 hrs before the event) and was so thankful they could help us and make the day complete and run smoothly. The rolls royce was absolutely gorgeous inside and out! Our driver Dave was amazing, punctual and put us at ease the whole time. “I originally ordered flowers from Croydon Blooms via direct2florist, but wanted to cancel as soon as I saw the Pink Candy hatbox on Croydon Blooms' own website. So, I rang Croydon Blooms up straight away and told them of my self-inflicted predicament - the lady on the phone was so helpful and said she'd not accept that order so that I wouldn't get charged twice, whilst I cancelled with direct2florist. And she also told me to ring her back if I have any other problems. Once I placed the final order, another lady rang me up to ask me if I'd be ok with a replacement flower as the buds pictured on their website were out of season. I know nothing about flowers, so I let the florists do what they do best, and I was not disappointed. It arrived no later than 3 hours after I placed the order, super quick! The hatbox itself was so beautifully arranged. And the macarons were delicious (I will need to find out where those are from!). Overall, I had a brilliant experience with Croydon Blooms. Will definitely use them again in the future. Thank you for making my parents' ruby anniversary special, everyone at Croydon Blooms!”

“Went here for a Christmas do a couple of years back, was impressed. Still incredibly impressed when I went back yesterday and had the death by meat aka the Mixed Grill - big portion, plus meats were cooked perfectly. Excellent pub with great food, worth a visit, but better to book ahead if you want to eat in the evening.”

“Delcious freshly cooked food. Inexpensive and good value. Very friendly staff who cannot be more amenable. Level entry so accessible for the disabled and infirm. Free parking in car park. Been several times with my elderly parents who have enjoyed every meal and snack they have eaten. Recommended.”

“Went there for Parkinson Users - Group Xmas Meal. I think it's part of the Pub. It doesn't look that big. But did manage to seat about 40 of us, quite spaciously. Bar nearby. Clean toilets. I would recommend - to hold events there. Friendly staff. Only little negative point is - the food was of small proportions? Thanks.”

“Love this place the girls the bar staff all very friendly and welcoming ,the women here are hot which is a plus. The beers not bad priced usual £1 in glass go to the girls for the stage dances also after pub finishes there’s next door late night club which is also good and more women !! From all nationalities and £10 a dance can’t go wrong will be back soon.”

“A lovely pub with a slightly more modern feel than your average spoons. Standard seating options available with seating out the front as well and picnic benches out the back (there is also a small covered area out the back). In fact there is a very colourful stained glass thingy on the ceiling just before you go out the back - just in case you're interested in that sort of thing. The staff were friendly and cheerful and the breakfast (with eggs) was as good as always. I did hang around after my late breakfast and the Guinness was excellent.”

“Pleasant welcome when we arrived. Very quick check in. Room was very clean & welcoming. Our room backed on to the busy M4 but never once heard the traffic. Bed was so comfortable best night sleep we have had in a very long time. Easy check out. Will definitely stay again.”

“I like this place so much that I even worked next door to the nursery in the restaurant. It's lovely atmosphere. Very relaxed and you feel like at home. The nursery have very nice teachers and beautiful view next to them with lots of nature,marine boats,swans,ducks etc. During summer time it's wonderful. The nursery it self is nice and my daughter enjoyed her time there.”
