He was able to readily understand the works I was looking to undertake, discuss the design and put forward a number of prices options from a materials perspective. I’m very happy with the knowledge, service and the various options tabled by Champion Timber to assist with pricing considerations on materials. Not something you get from all timber merchants.”

“Although I did not buy anything today that's not because I did not like anything. It's because I could not justify buying more footwear and considering where I could store additional footwear! Always find good quality and stylish shoes here. Pricey but you know you are getting quality here and not the deteriorating quality of other high street brands such as Clark's and others. I guess the old adage is true that you get what you pay for. My favourite formal shoes are from here and some 12 years old. Still perfectly good for use though!”

“Free parking right out front if required off peak times. Staff most welcoming, arranged a group table with less than an hours notice. Value for money too the bill including drinks very reasonable. Warm atmosphere, could not want for anything more. Keep up the good work :)”

“We had our wedding at the Bromley court hotel with guests coming from all over the country the bookings were handled with great efficiency. On planning Amy was very helpful knowledgeable and reassuring. On the day the staff went above and beyond expectations. We had our ceremony outside. The staff from the restaurant department were amazing and couldn’t do enough to make everyone comfortable. We had the perfect day and we honestly can’t recommend the hotel enough. “My son started at The Garden Pre-School a few weeks ago and has settled in beautifully. He has just turned two and, having been out of childcare for a long time, I was concerned as to how it would be to leave him. Well I needn’t have worried as all the staff at The Garden Pre-School have been incredibly kind, supportive and caring in making sure that my son feels happy and secure. In the first week teachers even took the time to update me regularly throughout each day, via phone calls, online messaging and photos as to how he had settled and the numerous fun activities he was taking part in. As an Early Years Teacher myself I am always very interested in other settings and having taken much time looking into different childcare options my husband and I were certain that the Garden Pre-School was the right place for our little boy. The outdoor area is always well maintained with fantastic equipment to allow children to explore safely and, as well as both the indoor and outdoor classrooms, there is an on-site Forest School, something which I personally believe is highly beneficial to children’s physical development as well as promoting independent exploration and imagination. I have already seen so much progress with regards to my sons speech, play and social behaviours. He runs out everyday with a huge smile on his face whilst shouting ‘bye bye friends’ and on the journey home when asked if he had a good day he replies ‘Yes, fun!’ As a parent, this is an amazing and reassuring thing to hear and I thank the staff at The Garden Pre-School for their hard work and dedication to the children they care for.”

“I couldn't recommend Bola's Place more highly, I had some Fulani braids installed and Bola and her assistant perfectly reproduced the style I wanted. Polite, friendly and professional I was very pleased with my visit and I'll definitely be a return customer.”

“I originally ordered flowers from Croydon Blooms via direct2florist, but wanted to cancel as soon as I saw the Pink Candy hatbox on Croydon Blooms' own website. So, I rang Croydon Blooms up straight away and told them of my self-inflicted predicament - the lady on the phone was so helpful and said she'd not accept that order so that I wouldn't get charged twice, whilst I cancelled with direct2florist. And she also told me to ring her back if I have any other problems. Once I placed the final order, another lady rang me up to ask me if I'd be ok with a replacement flower as the buds pictured on their website were out of season. I know nothing about flowers, so I let the florists do what they do best, and I was not disappointed. It arrived no later than 3 hours after I placed the order, super quick! The hatbox itself was so beautifully arranged. And the macarons were delicious (I will need to find out where those are from!). Overall, I had a brilliant experience with Croydon Blooms. Will definitely use them again in the future. Thank you for making my parents' ruby anniversary special, everyone at Croydon Blooms!”

“Went there for Parkinson Users - Group Xmas Meal. I think it's part of the Pub. It doesn't look that big. But did manage to seat about 40 of us, quite spaciously. Bar nearby. Clean toilets. I would recommend - to hold events there. Friendly staff. Only little negative point is - the food was of small proportions? Thanks.”

“Fantastic! Decided to go out for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon, and wanted to stay local. I ordered a lunchtime cheeseburger special, and my partner ordered a steak. Both delicious and cooked to perfection. Jack himself served us and is an extremely welcoming and personable guy. Cannot fault anything!”

“I am finishing my time as a supply teacher at this school. I have been working at Langley for about 6 months. The girls are a joy to teach. They are generally well behaved and respectful towards staff and the other girls. I don't recall having to lend pencils and pens to anyone in my classes. I trust them - if I left my bag, phone or wallet on a desk in some classroom, I'm sure I'd still find them where I left them. If you are familiar with schools you know that such places are rare. Their level of Maths is well above other schools where I have taught. The teachers are very knowledgeable. Several have Maths degrees. Opportunities for further development are everywhere. I was also impressed with students' performing in Music and Dance, particularly students playing Dvorak, Purcell and some popular music. As for the staff, it was great to be in a supportive environment with no drama where people just get along. They really work hard for the students. No place is perfect, but I think at Langley it is easy to be happy as a student or a member of staff. Teachers can teach and students can - and do - learn. And there's lots going on. If I were a parent (I'm not) I would send my child to Langley Park School for Girls with absolute confidence. And as I move on to become a permanent member of staff at another school, I know I'll miss my time at Langley.”
