“Quirky little cafe-bar. Had a perfectly nice pot of tea and a really good pain chocolat. I was the only customer in and me and the owner Ken spent the whole time chatting, mostly about photography. Many of his are on the walls, along with several other photographers. There's also a lot of music instruments hanging on the walls and ceiling, Mozart-themed chocolates and other gifts (as the name might suggest) imported from Vienna, classical music playing. Overally a nice interesting place to sit and while away some time taking in the overall ambience.”

“I’ve had all my piercings except my first lobes done here (that’s 13) and I’ve had an amazing experience. The staff are so welcoming, it’s really easy and straightforward to book appointments through whatsapp, and all my piercings have healed well and turned out just how I wanted. KD will explain step by step what he’s doing during a piercing and then gives aftercare info on cards which I find very very helpful. As soon as my most recent piercings have finished healing I plan on going back for my bridge and for some more on my ears and I already know I’ll have a great experience as usual”

“I always love this place. Cozy, friendly, and good simple food. It’s like going to a friend’s place for a meal. Whenever I’m running errands in Balham, I come for a quick bite and coffee here. Beautiful drawings and nice furniture. Bathroom is always impeccably clean. You know the owner really cares!”

“Pop in every now and again to buy their sausage and bacon rolls. Food is great. Atmosphere is very nice, kids welcome. Service has always been up to standard as they cook to order. A nice place to visit for a full English, pie and mash or just plain old breakfast rolls.”

“I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times. I have always had a pleasant experience, but my most recent experience has been so fantastic I really wanted to share how lovely it has been. Upon arrival I got chatting to a staff member (Rita) about our stay and mentioned it was my friend's (the other guest) birthday. She pulled me aside and asked for my room number and told me she would do something special. When we came back from an evening at the theatre we found that Rita had placed confetti, birthday banners, chocolates, prosecco and balloons in our room. When we went down to thank her she took the time to chat to us and made sure we had everything we needed. When we mentioned we were staying a few nights she asked if we had booked breakfast for the morning. When we said we hadn't she sorted it so we had a complimentary breakfast for the next day. She made us feel so welcome and homely, it really made me emotional. With all that is going on in the world at the moment, it restored my faith in humanity to have someone do such a selfless act just out of the kindness of their heart. I will never stay at another hotel in London again. This hotel is superior by far. Thank you so much Rita and the team for making our stay so enjoyable.”

“Made a reservation before coming here on a Thursday night after work and was happy that we did because 15 minutes after we sat down the restaurant was already half-filled! Last time I came here was 4 years ago and this time round I ordered the exact same dish - Kaisen don, and its safe to say that this place managed to keep it's high standard! I was very happy with the food as the sashimi was extremely fresh, came in a big portion with a layer of rice at the bottom. Thoroughly enjoyed every single bite of it and even though it's now £15 more expensive than 4 years ago I thought it was a nice treat since I don't come here often. Service was friendly, only downside was that the waiters didn't seem to be attentive enough as we had to wait and eventually ask them to come over and take our order. Other than that we had a very enjoyable experience overall. The interior is very authentic, homely, Japanese style which made me feel like I was back in Japan. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Japanese food and I will for sure come back here soon to try other things on the menu!”

“I recently visited Manos Grill, and I must say, it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the décor was beautifully done. The food was absolutely amazing! We tried a variety of dishes, and everything was cooked to perfection. The flavors were bold and delicious, and the portions were generous. The standout dish for me was the grilled chicken, which was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. The drinks were also excellent - I highly recommend trying the Sagres! Overall, I would highly recommend Manos Grill to anyone looking for an authentic and delicious Portuguese dining experience. The staff, food, and ambiance were all top-notch, and I can't wait to come back and try more of their amazing dishes!”

“Finally a first class Italian restaurant on our door step. It is a new place and my wife and I , experienced Brusketta last Friday for my Birthday. The service and attention to detail was excellent. The food - my wife had octopus and truffled potatoes, myself steak and mushrooms , both dishes and our starters were phenomenal. We were looked after the moment we entered the restaurant until we left. If you like first class Italian food and great friendly service I highly recommend Brusketta.”

“Absolutely amazing service and venue this morning when a group of us went there for breakfast. The Manager, Candice took our order with two of us having allergies. She was extremely friendly and helpful. With it being two of our birthdays, she got us a complimentary drink and dessert each. Would highly recommend. The food was fantastic.”

We came here as me and my partner were visiting his parents and they recommended it to us. Hands down the best breakfast we have had. The staff are all extremely friendly too and gave great service. “Since the Wimbledon branch closed we were missing Made in Italy. The food was amazing and the service was exceptional. Sharing board had so many different tastes as well as pizza’s sourdough taste was distinct! I can say their pizza is one of the pest. Montepulciano wine we had was leaving a funny after taste. When told, our glasses were exchanged with wine from a new bottle immediately. I knocked the new wine glass but even that was replaced! Friendly staff and excellent Itallian food - Made in Italy continues to be our favorite!! Thank you:)”

“The best Chinese restaurant in Peckham; possibly the world; indeed, I think, the universe!!! No need to venture into Dulwich or the city - the quality of this simple Peckham 'Chinese Takeaway' is simply excellent. Their food? Delicious! What more can I say? I've eaten at a range of Chinese restaurants all over London and Full Garden is right up there with the best. I usually order by phone and pick up my meal, so I don't usually wait for too long Well worth a visit.”

It's in such great location, especially if you unfortunately have a hospital visit, Homerton hospital is around the corner and Chatsworth road market up the road. This place feels really homey and has a real sense of community.”
