“The food was amazing and fresh. The service was great. There was ten adults and at least ten children so you can imagine how loud our group was. The staff dealt with us professionally courteously and they were great with the kids. The portions were a good size and we had so much left over. The taste of the fresh food was on point. “We chose this lovely restaurant to host my mother surprise 70th private Birthday party. Ardien, the manager, was so incredibly helpful and accommodating in the lead up to the big day. We sat down together with him and his talented chef Matteo to create a memorable menu and seating arrangement for the 30-40 people in attendance. Ardien’s and Matteo’s knowledge, experience and attention to detail really shone through. Nothing was too much trouble and they were determined that my mum got the 70th birthday party she deserved and even recommended a singer for the occasion which we were searching for and therefore opted for. The big day came and my mum and the guests had a fantastic time from start to finish. The entire day was memorable which is testament to Ardien, Matteo and the staff. We are an Italian family so are well versed in eating Italian food all our lives and so too were many of the guests. Every food course was delicious and the service; sublime. It’s safe to say that Punto completely lives up to being an authentic Italian restaurant where so many other restaurants fall short. The singer was also fantastic on that day with guests up singing and dancing. The entire day will certainly live long in the memory of my mum and everyone that attended. THANK YOU Punto’s!”

“Excellent quality of steaks we were three of us and I ordered the Rib Eye which was like butter. All accompaniment dishes like the stem broccoli with French beans and Mac and cheese with a Caesar salad went down very well.Also the house red wine was superb choice. Would definitely come again as the manager was very approachable and a pleasantly joking gentleman.”

“Great pizza, great pasta and love the calamari. Service is always pleasant and your treated more like family than just a customer. The owner and head chef even comes out to make sure you’ve enjoyed everything and food is up to satisfaction. Highly recommend if in the area. Oh and don’t forget to try the tiramisu”

“I habe to give this place 5 stars, as their fish and chips are always on the level. Never too oily or fish of the strange small size! It's run by the same lady and is open only from 12 to 14 and 16 to 19, always fresh. Chips are not made of frozen potatoes. Cash only.”

“Having just finished a 10 mile walk, i was famished. This place was a gem i found by accident. My friend and i asked if they had a table as the place was rammed. The very efficient lady in charge was able to squeeze us in if we promised to be done in an hour as the table was reserved. Food looked gorgeous but i just opted for a snack which was dirty fries with beef and cheese”

“This was surprisingly a great little chill spot with good tasting food. I was expecting bland bar food, but got very tasty meal, the cheese burger was really juicy and tasted like it was made fresh and not from frozen patties. Drinks service was a bit slow because the place was crowded but this comes with Friday nights I guess.”

“This is an absolutely fantastic pub for Sunday dinner. The meal was very well prepared and the staff were friendly and answered all of our food allergy questions. I had a traditional Sunday roast which included all the relevant trimmings. The draft beer was also excellent. I would most certainly come back again. This restaurant accepts tips when paying by card.”

“Going by some of the reviews on this place I would have avoided it. However, my co driver ordered and we both had salt and pepper ribs. They were first class. The special fried rice was nice as well along with the curry sauce. I couldn't fault the place.”

“The Gate is a really good place to visit. We had dinner they on a Saturday night. We had booked in advance, so a table has been reserved for us. The menu is really good, with a really good variety to choose from, including a separate vegan/vegetarian menu. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the menu gives really good variety for money, including the drinks menu. We started with the vegetarian chili nachos which were delicious and made a really nice change from the traditional meat version. We will definitely go back again.”
