“This was my first order from Coulsdon Spice in the endless quest for a decent local curry, and I'm glad I took the chance! The service was courteous, delivery was prompt so the food arrived hot, they went out of their way to replace a dish they couldn't provide (due to high demand) and the food itself was good value and delicious! I'm very glad I tried them and will be ordering from them again. My first takeaway curry in about three years that wasn't disappointing! Thanks!”

“Have been coming here for many years. The place is clean and tidy has great, friendly staff and you can buy from a large selection of menu items.The service is fast and the food is of good quality. Portion of chips are quite big and delicious!They are also open quite late. Free parking can be found outside in one of the bays. I would recommend this place.”

“All the food was really good and the service was very friendly. The atmosphere was also really nice. The flowers on the tables were real instead of dusty plastic ones like I usually see in pubs. My partner really likes fried squid but had struggled to find a place that really nails it: crispy but not overcooked and not rubbery. This place had the perfect fried squid. We loved everything else we got as well: fried brie (pictured), chicken Caesar salad, sticky chicken, chips, and scallops.”

“Had the best Delivery lastnight of Cheese Quarter Pounder a Donner Kebab & chips.. was fresh tasty and the chips from a delivery were spot on crispy and had not gone sad and floppy and the kebab was tender and tasty, as was the quarter pounder. A big thumbs up and will use again. Thank you”

The staff are lovely and always serve with a smile! A great selection of hot and cold drinks/food. Uber Eats delivery is also very speedy too. “Lo Zafferano hosts the best and flavoursome authentic Italian cuisine. The menu is well varied and suitable for vegetarians too. Portion sizes are very generous and aesthetically pleasing to the eye and tastebuds. The deserts and cocktail menu is also mouthwatering! The service is always very warming and inviting- always feeling welcomed and taken care of. The atmosphere is very soothing and relaxing with perfect lighting and music. I regularly frequent Lo Zafferano and will continue to do so!!!”

“A lovely independent cafe with good coffee and food, and free WiFi. I just spent nearly 5 hours hanging out here while my car was being serviced/MoT'd across the road. This is something I have done on two previous occasions over the last 3 years. Each time I have enjoyed the food, drink, service and atmosphere here. On this occasion I had two perfectly poached eggs and two very tasty sausages on toast with good, strong, tasty coffee for my breakfast. I was able to hang out, having the occasional drink, working on my laptop with their fast, and free, wi-fi. I saw plenty of places to plug in and recharge if needed too. I ended up having lunch here as well, soup of the day, which was spicy lentil, absolutely delicious, and perfect for a cold, wet, winter's day. The fact that this lovely independent cafe is here, will be a key factor in choosing the next place I go for work on the car, and although I don't live especially close I will definitely pop in if in the area.”
