The food is always so flavoursome, it definitely makes me feel so welcome! “Chose this restaurant as I'd seen positive reviews on a local facebook group about their hygiene and safety during lockdown as well as some enthusiastic reviews of the food. 100% recommend. The food was fantastic, full of flavour and arrived hot and fresh. (Not overheated to appear hot at delivery like some places) The vegetable dishes had as much care taken over them as the meat dishes and the portions were generous. Very reasonably priced! The deliveroo estimate of the delivery time was accurate and whilst longer then most was definitely worth the wait and both the staff and delivery driver were very friendly despite being clearly busy. Definitely order again thanks guys!”

The owners have done a great job making it an appealing and relaxed environment, and visitors are always impressed! Not to mention the Flying Cloud Cafe outside which is perfect for a coffee and a bite to eat with nice scenery.”

“While I think the initial reaction was 'another coffee shop? at least it's not an estate agent' for most people in Teddington, Local Hero being a new addition to the high street is a dream. They've played into the fact that they're a coffee shop, and not a brunch/dinner/lunch place, and the focus on great coffee pays off with consistently great coffee. (although the pastries and small bites really are great too!) Family run with two other places in SW London, there's a range of different coffees, with all your usual oat/soy/alternative milk, with LH's house roast that makes for a great espresso - one of the only places in the area you can have a magic too (think flat white, but punchier!) Add on friendly and welcoming staff, and Local Hero is a winner for anything from a morning wake up call through to meeting a friend for a chat over a great tasting coffee. They're also dog friendly, which is a huge plus!”

Well they were very fine cannoli when in so many places they can be a travesty of the real thing. But why go on about it when the real reason to go here is for a proper cup of coffee!”
