A Slice of Blue
“My new favourite pizza place in London. Excellent venue with a lovely atmosphere. Great music, friendly staff and the pizza war truly delicious. Dont miss the Mortadella/pistachio pizza, it's amazing.”
Gourmet Sushi, Notting Hill Gate
“Unexpectedly excellent! Doesn't look like much at first glance and you wouldn't think it's that good, but the food is wonderful and the quality to price ratio is amazing! Large, quality portions for cheap prices”
Kokoro
“This is such a wonderful little food place, but the staff here don't make it feel like another chain restaurant, they are friendly and charming to customers and work like a well oiled machine to get people served and keep the food topped up. The food is always fantastic, tasty and fresh and it's my favourite place to get food from in Guildford.”
Soya Weybridge
“Nice Asian restaurant, warm ambience, very clean, servers are attentive and friendly. The food is not so tasty to my liking but that is subjective to one's preference really. Overall, deserving of 5 star.”
Pokie & Roll
“Returning customers. Great food served in front of you. Very clean and various foods for all. The atmosphere is great and staff are really friendly and welcoming. It's our favourite place to eat in Kingston. They are also generous with the food so you won't leave feeling hungry. Give this place a try. Ps. Me and my wife love the pokie and roll.”
Nippon Izakaya
“Food was amazing, the restaurant is nicely decorated and the staff were friendly with quick service. Would definitely visit again if I'm in the area. I had the teriyaki salmon donburi and the phoenix sushi.”
Island Poké Wimbledon
“Good healthy food in the high street! This is a gem in an otherwise mass of fast food restaurants that have seemed to have started to take over Wimbledon. Tasty, friendly staff and nice environment for a sit down bit of lunch. Well worth checking out!”
Sushi Shimai
“Really good, inexpensive All You Can Eat Sushi! Very fresh and tasty - fish melted in mouth and rice was perfectly nutty and slightly warm. Back a second week in a row as it was so good! Debbie the waitress was great! 50% a la carte lunch too! Only bad thing is they won’t allow AYCE if you’re alone.”
Uncle Lim's South Croydon
“Tasty food with good prices. Pretty decor and cosy feel. Friendly waitress so can't ask for more. Wish they did a few more choices of sushi rolls”
Intoku Japanese & Sushi Restaurant Chelsea
“Really good food, we loved everything we tried. Sushi was amazing, quite different from other places as well (salmon dragon roll was so good). Great quality. Staff were super helpful and nice as well, which made the dinner all the better. Totally recommend to check this place if you have not already!”
Atariya Foods Golders Green
“The miso soup paste is cheap. Their staff are so welcoming ☺️ Yamaka Sushi Kit is around £4 which is amazing for 2 people. So cheap and perfect for date night.”
Morinoya
“New favourite sushi restaurant in London!! Small but very authentic, only a few tables which makes it more special. We loved everything we ordered from the menu, no exceptions and that never happens, shout out to the chefs. The quality of the fish is really good and the ratio fish/rice in the sushi is amazing! Loved the miso soup, prawn gyozas, the temakis were great as well as the crispy prawn roll uramaki. Expensive but worth it. Special mention to the Spanish waitress that served us, she was helpful and really nice. We will be back for sure.”

“The staff here are very friendly and the veggie options are great. I got their miso dumpling soup and it was very good - especially or a rainy day in London.”
The Sushi Co - Holborn
“Delicious sushi, very fresh ingredients - fish was exquisite. Very impressed. We had the sushi sharer platter for two, will be coming back and planning to show my colleagues this place as we work nearby. Decent price for good sushi in London. Cool venue too with a streety-vibe, and very friendly staff.”
Misato
“I loved the prawn tempura Udon that I had at this place! The prawn was perfect and the tempura coating wasn't too much. The broth was delicious! My friend had grilled cod with rice which was extremely filling and delicious as well. This place is usually crowded so make sure you have a lot of time when you come in. They have toilets which is a good thing. The interiors are quite active with authentic setting. Although beware, the menu prices online aren't the same as the restaurant (the restaurant is more expensive)”
Takeshi sushi
“Such a nice spot. Very good sushi for a great price. It's small, dinky, unassuming, but really packs a punch! We come back a lot, and that's all you really need to know.”
Yama Momo
“One of the best Japanese restaurants I've been too. What a treat and got to sit right at the back of the restaurant. When arriving the staff were super friendly and very helpful with the menu and drink choices, it was a smooth experience. I ended up staying right till the end as the time flew by. An excellent choice of dishes to choose from, sushi to grill meats and right across the board. Cocktails are so delicious, and a nice effort was made from them. Transport wise, easy to park in and around the area and North Dulwich station is just around the corner. Overall, very lovely and I hope you have the same experience or makes you want to go. Solid A***** LDT x”

“A spur of the moment (last minute!) 30th birthday treat. The sushi was fresh, perfectly portioned and so delicious! We did mention off hand that it was my boyfriend's birthday, and we were treated to a tasty chocolate cake with cream on the house. Would 100% recommend, we've been to Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka and the sushi is on par with meals we had in Japan!”
3AKE
“This is a great, dainty place to have some bottomless sushi!!! We went for brunch/lunch and it was £35 per person, after service charge it was about £78 for two people, no drinks. We got all the starters. Chicken gyoza was okay, octopus takoyaki was really good and tasty. The ebi fry also very good, well fried and tasty sauce. Salmon tartare was also surprisingly amazing, probably the best of the lot. For sushi we ordered two rounds, we got the spicy salmon, spicy ebiten, regular ebiten, seaweed maki and California sushi maki rolls. All were amazing, the best was the spicy ebiten, spicy salmon and California roll. We also got the sea bream, mango and steamed prawn Hosomaki roll which were also great, my favourite here would be the sea bream. The mango one is quite sweet but was interesting. The service was really good aswell, they come to you and ask if you want to order and top up your drinks, very good service. Location very nice and a very nice ambience to the whole place. I just wish we could have ordered more rounds because we did have time to, but I think two is the max. I would definitely recommend this place! The sushi is also very pretty when it comes out, picturesque.”
Sticks'n'Sushi Canary Wharf
“Great sushi spot in Canary Wharf. Very intimate atmosphere despite the proximity of seating. The food was incredibly done and even with the variety, everything was fresh and tasty! Great spot for special occasions or for a lovely date night!”
Hokkaido Teppanyaki Restaurant
“They were super accommodating for our sons 7th birthday! The food was amazing, the teppanyaki was entertaining and the service was excellent. Have told so many people about it already, will be back!”
Yokoso Japan
“Nice, cozy restaurant on Barnet high street. Great food, big portions and good value for money. Excellent staff who are very attentive and helpful.”
TARO - WALTHAMSTOW
“A little renovated restaurant with stalls for each table. Lovely atmosphere. We came in for lunch right after they opened and the owner greeted us in a very humble and friendly way. We had ramen, takoyaki, and their signature dish chicken teridon. Everything was super tasty and well cooked! We’ll be back often!”
Bell'Amico
“Not quite the same since original owners sold, but it's a good place to have good food and good coffee, staff very friendly and accommodating.”
Piazza Firenze - Leatherhead
“I visited once and on my second visit the waitress remembered my drink preference. Excellent service, good food and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend this restaurant.”
L'Artista
“The food was amazing and the staff were very helpful. We have a picky eater, we explained this to them and they went out of their way to help. Toilets very clean, plenty of room for pushchairs, very child friendly, the staff were great with the little ones.”
Bacco Ristorante Italiano
“Lovely dinner at Bacco Ristorante Italiano after an afternoon in Richmond. A small menu that is well executed. The bruschetta with burrata, risotto with asparagus and prawns, and tagliatelle with black truffle were all excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive. Lots of Italian wines. Large outdoor seating area under large umbrellas. Definitely will return and would definitely recommend.”
La Parmigiana
“Best takeaway pizza in the area. Nice thin, hand cooked bases and generous toppings. I live in Mortlake and delivery takes about 25min. Pic is of the only slice I had leftover!”
Il Funghetto
“We had a lovely time at this place. We were 4 mums and 5 children ages 2 to 10 years old. We didn't book but they made a space for us. The staff are very welcoming and made us feel welcome as soon as we came in. We were offered high chairs which were a good height so the 2 and 3 Yr old could eat at the table. The atmosphere is vibrant which I like. Very Italian. The food was lovely. The chicken Kiev usually comes with potatoes but I exchanged it for fries. Everything came out hot and fresh. The pizzas and garlic bread were very nice. My 10yr old had the pesto pasta which she said was delicious. I had the tiramisu which was awesome. Homemade. Thr mascarponi was so delicious. I was stuffed until I couldn't move! The bill was £160 for 4 adults and 5 kids which I thought was fantastic value for money. Would definitely return.”
